I was stunned when Biden said he was running for reelection. I don’t think he’s totally incapable as he has done well so far. He has noticeably aged since he won. But I think his wanting a second term shows poor judgment and perhaps a lack of awareness.

I have been sick before but was self-aware enough to act well. He couldn’t do much about being hoarse but he could have spoken louder. He did a few times when he got emotional.

I do wonder if there will be a discussion if polling shows a decline in approval. If he stubbornly holds on to running with little chance of winning it will be a selfish decision. He could ruin his legacy if Trump wins, and especially if Trump does what he’s promising.
