If only Christians had the depth of faith of Radical Muslims

What a beautiful world we would live in. Love and compassion for all people at any cost.
Now that would be a GOOD kind of Radical Christanity even the ACLU could not win a case against.

If Christians had the faith to give their lives up for their God we could easily win this war on terrorism. There would be no war on terrorism. The problem is most "so called Christians" are just that. That is our biggest weakness. We are not willing to give up our lives for our beliefs in the same numbers.
But claim we would.

No, it is that we are not willing to give up our lives to take out 30 innocent lives of women and children in a marketplace for our beliefs. And that makes a big difference.

I really do not think Christians would give their lives freely in the name of their religion regardless of the enemy. Perhaps I was misunderstood. If my supposition was true the Armed Forces should be filled with devout Christians who would dare to confront those who would take out 30 innocent lives in a marketplace. I see many young men who claim to be Christians who would never think of joining together against those who would sooner see us be martyred for our beliefs. Even the presidential Candidate who has SIX presumably Christian sons. None of which served a day in this fight against those you speak of.

I stand by my statements. This is a religious war as most are. Should we fight for our God and save the the belief of our salvation or so we "turn the other cheek" as Jesus said and martyr ourselves for our faith?.

I myself am firmly prepared to watch girls bounce on trampolines and drink beer for my religion. Call me a fanatic, if you must.

Hmmmm, let me see, on one hand I could enjoy the view and have a beer. On the other hand I could die for no good reason.......... I think I will hang out with Phil.

Now that would be killing 2 birds (not that I ever would) with one stone from where I'm sitting.

It would probably bring back the good old days of Crusades and Inquisitions, the torture and burning of witches and heretics.

What a beautiful world we would live in if there was NOT anyone dying for religion or anything else, but of old age. What a beautiful world we would live in if there was no religion. Ohh, how violent religion makes people, so sad, but so true.

I'm 100% positive Jesus Christ would disapprove that Christians should give up their lives to have people killed. Kind of reminds me of a quote by Mohandas Gandhi: 'I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.'
