If you can't take the heat .... maybe climate change is real!

So you do agree that the World's climate is changing? That's a start.

What do you think about the receding glaciers everywhere and the reducing AntArctic Ice? Any ideas?

Of course, if Ice is melting everywhere then sea levels will be rising..........got that?
Sea levels have been higher, sea levels have been lower.

They are finding under water roads, structures, etc that are thousands of years old.

Build too close to a flood plain, you will eventually get flooded.
Built too close to the sea shore you will eventually get flooded.

True. But not the masters either.
What actual thinking entity has more power in this situation than us?

This isn't about earthquakes or continental drift or solar storms or cyclical climate changes with 50,000 year cycles. This is entirely about changes that will massively affect billions of humans and significantly change the environments that the majority of the rest of life has spent millions of years adapting too.

Your attitude of I don't care, I will live a life and whatever happens to others now or in the future is none of my responsibility.;

That attitude is basically just disgusting for a sentient being who is capable of affecting the affectable.

That's right! Absolutely! And vast glaciers and ice sheets melting means exactly that.
So it's time to move up to higher ground....... and see what we can do to slow up the process.

Oh, and the weather changes might get you wherever you are.
Let's see how things go.

More denialism in service of selfish and lazy fatalism.

We lost a significant portion of the most productive farmland in California to flooding last year and we can't move the farmland when it goes back to being a sea as it was before.

Lol. They are just agreeing with facts.

Fyi, as far as I know that poster accepts the climate is warming.

Yes. As it was before. Its probably happened many times shifting from land to sea.
We want to stop the natural cycle of it going back to sea.

So your farmland has had it. And
billions will lose their homes before long.
I'm denying nothing. It's happening.

What have you done to try and slow it down? I got rid of my car in 2020 and purchased an ev. We added more insulation to our home. We use blankets and less fires.

How about you?

No we want to stop the deviation from the natural cycle that we are causing,

All of the above (no car at present) if you count converting from oil to heat pump as less fire and daytime heat at 65 night at 60. I actually prefer it there anyhow.

Beyond that inspire people that that is only a beginning, and it is not just moving uphill a little. Almost all major population areas are on flood plains or flat areas of shorelines, it is not so simple as moving uphill a few feet.

Technically we are still in an ice age(coming out of one). Ice is going to melt. Rising sea levels are going to happen. We can't stop that.
The speed is the concern.
We built in places were the sea levels once were and with returning rising sea levels its now Oh Crap!

"The Last Glacial Maximum (LGM), about 20,000 years ago....been coming out of it since

"Between about 14,000 and 6,500 years ago, there had been a 110 m sea level rise...."

"About 10,200 years ago the last land bridge(doggerland) between mainland Europe and Great Britain was submerged, leaving behind a salt marsh. By 8000 years ago the marshes were drowned by the sea, leaving no trace of any former dry land connection...."

"The Bering Land Bridge, also known as Beringia, was covered by water around 11,000 to 13,000 years ago as the Earth warmed"...

Lead by example should be the theme.
For example...
Why aren't all government vehicles EV's?
