If you can't take the heat .... maybe climate change is real!

There are a lot of comparisons to the past in this thread. The climate was hotter. Antarctica used to be hotter. And so on. One thing that is different now is that there are now 8 billion humans all looking to get fed, find shelter, reproduce, and enjoy their lifestyles. A signature effect of climate change brought on by global warming is that the food supply for that many people is already under great stress, and arable land is going to shrink rapidly. Most of the major population centers in the world are on the coasts, which are going to be changing drastically with rising sea levels. It's one thing to ignore what is coming. It's even worse if we don't plan for the changes that we know are coming.

Skanky Old Mongrel!
All of the above (no car at present) if you count converting from oil to heat pump as less fire and daytime heat at 65 night at 60. I actually prefer it there anyhow.

Beyond that inspire people that that is only a beginning, and it is not just moving uphill a little. Almost all major population areas are on flood plains or flat areas of shorelines, it is not so simple as moving uphill a few feet.
Of course it is not..... It will be an unravelling worldwide disaster, as will happen for so many of the weather changes and catastrophies.

And it does seem as if nearly everybody does unerstand that this will happen, but some whole cultures either don't care or just want to let future generations suffer.

Don't try pointing somewhere else.
You do clearly know about what's coming, you just need to care about it more. True?
You have no clue what I care about.

However if people of authority that are telling me I need to do this or that, do you not agree they should do the same? And even probably before me to set an example.

Buy hey let's get Mikey, Mikey will try it.
