If you criticise hindu traditions, you become a "scientific person" and if you criticise..

muslim traditions, you become a discriminatory or a "rascist". This is so true for online media like facebook, twitter, youtube, reddit, google and I won't be surprised that's the same here(hope not). The entire machinery is ran just for feeding the propaganda. That's not the problem that they want to share their propaganda. The bigger problem is that there are not such competitive alternatives to these companies. Internet has been centralized which is a joke in this age and time. I just hope new apps and websites come and people adopt them and interent decentralizes again like the good ol' internet. Till now I've not seen any signs of decaying of these old daddies like facebook and instagram. But let's hope so happens. But I don't think it'll happen.Youtube is irreplaceable because no new startup can provide same ad rates and same selection of contents. No new facebook can provide same selection of people (same for instagram). And no new twitter can provide same selection of users. And I don't think reddit could be replaceable due to its anonymous and worthless nature(it's not adding value to life like youtube and neither is like facebook where people know each other). I am open to your thoughts.

I am not so certain that you are correct about youtube. I have a youtube subscription and have relied on it for a long time. Youtube has several large weaknesses. First of all it cannot manage all of the content. Videos get lost in the piles of data and are forgotten. Secondly youtube keeps trying to guess what content I want, and it does a terrible job. Instead of assisting me, it gets in my way. Thirdly its search results are disappointing, leading to lists of useless videos. Fourth, this problem will only get worse as the content increases. Fifth, it just like Netflix and Amazon puts too much distracting information on screen. Visiting any of them is like walking through a street crowded by shouting vendors, and its not inviting. You wish to be anywhere else.

Youtube is good for DIY (Do It Yourself) videos or for particular kinds of videos. You can get news, commentary, instruction, music and some films and shows. On the other hand you must filter out all of the junk that gets in front of the better information.

"If you criticise hindu traditions, you become a "scientific person" ..": Or you could be termed as ignorant (depending on what you say). :)

I would not term @reddit as worthless, though they pushed me out of religion. They have a nice helpful computer section. :)

I am talking about admin level. Not users or mods level(although what I said is true for that as well unless you're criticising hinduism in r/hinduism or sth. I was a atheist but honestly these social media has extremized my thoughts about religion. I am quitting everything.. Reddit is a propaganda machine for certain politicially oriented people. Not only reddit almost every centralized social media is a propaganda machine. I am using duckduckgo and yandex instead of google these days. Google has gone from my default browser. I personally think everyone has figured out google's algorithm.

I strongly recommend that you read the site rules. You can criticize Muslim traditions as long as you're not rude, trollish, or attacking Muslims as people. Our goal is an ecumenical site where people of many different worldviews can interact respectfully.

How do you think youtube could be replaced?I agree about recommendations but I don't use mobile app. I agree that old videos are worthless in youtube(people don't watch I mean). Yes its search results are also too politically correct and "x" ideology supporting. Yes youtube is overdoing ads these days, it's getting annoying sometimes. But just use adblocker in laptop. I don't care about ads in smartphone(IDK but I don't get too many ads on smartphones for most of the times-nowadays they're increasing).
I don't want to visit pro x community and criticise y there. It's of no point. Pro x community will be filled with x extremists. So I am thinking what should I do? How should I anonymously voice my opinion? Or should I? I am thinking of quitting every internet forum where I "pass my time" (like religion, politics, career advice, life advice-subjective stuffs) and use only for giving and taking objective support. Suggest me some advice(paradox haha)

Thanks for the info. Rude, trollish, or attacking are subjective to personal's interpretations though, but it's good that you're inviting critics. It's good if this forum isn't one of those centralized media houses throwing out propagandas.
This site also seems to be getting good amount of visitors. It's great place to be I think.
Why Hindu traditions in particular?
any religion i mean other than islam. rationality rules or sth yt channel has even made a similar video about it. i resonated with that. one thing i didn't like(found ironic) was he was using israel's research paper to criticise islam haha. not doing ad hominem but bias is bias. a research done to prove a point is different than a point proved from a research.

I am having a difficulty understanding your posts. Perhaps you can explain what you mean by "israel's research paper" and why that bothers you. Or are you saying that any research done is Israel should be dismissed? If so, would that not expose an unhealthy bias on your part?

you might be correct. what i'm saying that if "x" who's known to hate "y" makes a research paper about "why y is bad", people are going to be little suspicious about it. isreals has the best education in the world imo. but they're humans.we need to look at multiple papers and come to conclusion.

I do not criticize Hinduism. But the problem is that I am a strong atheist Hindu, which has no conflict with Hinduism. It is a time-honored stance in Hinduism which appears in RigVeda too some 3,000 yearws ago. But those ignoramus at @reddit cannot understand my stance.
I have not used Yandex much, but @ddg is my second choice. It can become first if Google annoys me. I do not have any secrets on my computer except the e-mail of my contacts.
Pro x community will be filled with x extremists.
It is not like that at Religious Forums. Sure, they speak in favor of their religion, but we do not have Muslim extremists here.

Israel is home to numerous research institutions reflecting a broad range of perspectives from nonpartisan to highly partisan. For you to imply that an Israeli research group is likely driven by people who hate the focus of their research is simple bigotry.

i am not saying that. i am saying that someone will say that. i find this obvious tbh. people have hard time trusting a food company who wants to launch its food produce in market claiming that they've researched that their food product will make everyone healthy. israel's education is even better than US(afaik) and people say what you study in UG in israel, US students study that in PG.

Many producers are tired of its automatic ban system. Here's one long term producer who last month announced he'd be leaving youtube. This is a Christian apologist who puts out content to argue for Christianity, and he says every month youtube finds ways to censor his videos. For example if he gets a death threat and complains about it in a video his video will be automatically censored until he goes through some long process to get it reinstated.

Producers like him have gotten together and have formed competing video sites. They want to produce their shows without being harassed.
