Go Fund Me seems to be a good idea for this situation in the mid term.

However, it is my understanding that St. Frank needs to deal with it in the next few days. From what I have read of Go Fund Me, it simply does not allow withdrawals without at least a five days wait.

I may be a good idea to set up an account for the near future, though, or at least research how it is done and how it works. Better than having to go through it again later if it comes to that.

Even if I did set up a Go Fund Me campaign, where would I advertise it? Asking for help online is getting me nowhere. I even made a post on Facebook and it's being ignored. I'm out of options and I'm close to giving up.

It's not being ignored, I just have no more solutions than the last time this was a problem. Clearly your current situation isn't sustainable, and something needs to change, but none of us can make those changes or come up with that solution for you.

Other people may well be generous, and those people are wonderful, but long term solutions are what will benefit you the most, even if the short term solutions suck.

Yeah, we know the situation isn't sustainable. That's fairly obvious. But I did say that I'm going for SSI and that will keep us out of situations like this and my mom will be making more money over the holiday season. This crap happened because of miscommunication because the property manager hates us (he has also taken money from us and kept it for himself).

Just letting you all know.

If things keep going the way they have been today and we don't get any help from someone, it's out on the street we go. We have no friends or family, so it's either a shelter or suicide (and we pretty much refuse to go to a shelter since we'll lose everything and we can't bear to go through that again). So we're going to try to call some people we know to beg for money (it's not like we can afford to have dignity at this point) since we're out of options now.

Im so sorry to hear what you are going through man.Its never good to hear things like this. Please do not even consider suicide as an option. It hurts my heart to hear such things from people.I know you and I do not see eye to eye on some things but believe me when I say that I am troubled over you saying this. Please reconsider and try your best to stay afloat.I know people always tell people ,"look on the bright side." I will say this, there are many people in way worst conditions.no legs,no arms,in the hospital, terminally ill.You still have your health right? There are many things that can be done before checking out permanently.Try to figure something out man.

Are you having trouble finding Work? You say you have no family.Im sorry to hear that.I cant even imagine that.I do have friends in that situation but they are all hustlers.

I wish I could be where you are at to speak to you in person.I would kick you down with what ever I could spare my friend and cook you dinner. We should all look out for one another:)
I am going to pray for you right now.I know you and I do not agree but I will do it anyway.I care about all humans.I really hope all goes good for you.

Talk to the staff. I was allowed to set one up here for my mom. Face book friends did nothing, but many members here donated. It may not have ever been enough for rent, but it certainly has helped my mom out of a pinch on several occasions. I. Didn't even push hard for donations, or keep updating the that...

When people here say they care and want to help, they mean it.... Im sorry I am just seeing this thread now... I'm trying to catch up but it looks like something must have worked out? At least a band aid fix.

We're in trouble again. This will be the last time, though, if we can get help.

The staff has allowed me to make a thread asking for help. This is it: http://www.religiousforums.com/foru...-urgent-family-needs-emergency-rent-help.html

Frank put the current situation into some context here.

Listen, I've been incapable of doing much of anything since I was in the 8th grade. I would go weeks without showing up to school. It ended up in me being brought up on truancy charges and being court ordered into therapy. Then I was thrown out of three high schools for not showing up and for not doing any work. I have not finished high school. I basically dropped out without officially dropping out.

I have done some volunteer work in the past but my record with that was spotty at best. I just stopped showing up eventually. The only paying job I've had lasted for about 3 months, but I think it was less than that. I got injured and eventually would just call off sometimes because I didn't feel like going in. I hated that job, started slacking off and quit before they could fire me due to my injury making me "dead weight".

My mother literally takes care of me. She works and does pretty much everything around the apartment because I'm not able to, apparently. I really only leave the apartment by myself when I have an apartment and my record of making appointments is nothing to write home about.

So your advice is not helpful to me.

The reason it exists is because you wanted it. The reason you want it to die is ....?
I have my opinions but I'm keeping them to myself.

I can see where this is going and I already know what your opinion is so this "conversation" can end here. Look down on me all you want as if you understand anything. You already do, anyway.
