I'm getting shock treatments tommorow

so, sometime between 6:00-7:00 I will have electric currents running through me (Electroconvulsive therapy) till I convulse and have a siezure. It is to treat shizoaffective disorder (Bipolar with symptoms of schitzophrenia). It's suppossed to leave me with a headache and memory loss. Please take two seconds out of your day to pray a two-second prayer for me is all I ask...if I get healed I hope to help others

I have a dear friend who underwent electroconvulsive therapy and it was good. Gave her some relief for a time.
If shocking the heart back into rhythm works, then this might do the same thing for the mind. All the best with it PoD.

Ha, they use to it without putting you under, in the bad old days, thank whatever those days are gone, people with mental illness were treated bad, very bad back then.

Yeah...they used to put psychotic people in a chair and spin them until they were so dizzy it sedated them

Yes, but I suppose back then they didn't know any better, they didn't have the wonderful medications they have today.

Yes you can see them actually doing it on you-tube, well it use to be there, not a pretty sight.

I don't know if bioshock is the same as actual seizures. I know when I had my real bad seizures before surgery, it took about a day to get back on track and I was swimming and dodging cars on my skate board again the next day. Nothing different today other than I go to work instead of school. ....but if it's like seizures, you'll do fine. Make sure you got enough advil, someone to stop asking you "are you okay" for the gazillionith time within five minutes, and.... whats the other one, ooh! If it's what I think it is, make sure you don't have nothing to much to do for the rest of the day. Seizures knock you out cold.
