I am aware of the continuing battle within me following the 'erotic dance' thread.
I thought perhaps I would give an analogy based on the similar objections I held re the last thread.
My wife is half Spanish; we have spent a lot of time in Spain - especially when the kids were young; holidays were centered on their needs, ie Sun, Sea and sand.
The number of Spanish women who 'abused' their children by confronting us foreigners (as they thought of us), begging by the side of the road. In other words "Please give me money in order that I can feed this beautiful child of mine".
Knowing how much money vagrants make in this country by begging, it doesn't take much imagination to come to the conclusion that these women were merely using the children as a "Why should I work as a cleaner when I can make the same money in a day as I would in a week by getting foreigners to give me money - they're all rich , as we all know"
What is even more frightening was the 'lending' of children to other members of the family so that they could join the bandwaggon. (A conversation overheard between two women who didn't realize Marie was fluent in Spanish).
Does this example help forim members understand 'Where I was comming from?' in the other thread?
