Immortality

I did a ritual for knowledge of immortality to be brought to me, and later that night as I laid my head down I saw death (in my mind). Their appearance reminded me of either spring or fall, anyway I asked them for knowledge of immortality and they replied saying I was unworthy.

I told them that I was not looking for the attainment of immortality only knowledge of it and as I looked upon them some other scene played out with certain sentences being emphasized.

These were,
"I have but one gun, selfish love"
and
"If you push that button you will die"

Anyways i'm just curious about what ya think about it, any suggestions or theories of your own would be appreciated.

To explain about the emphasizing I used to use a method for acquiring knowledge unknowable to me by asking myself a question repeatedly until an answer came back emphasized, this answer was always correct so I assume this to be the case here.

I think "I have but one gun, selfish love" means that you love yourself, maybe too much.

and "If you push that button you will die" could be speaking of the trigger to the gun, which describes to not use selfish love.

That would be fitting with the description I gave, though I have little to no self love or confidence in most aspects of my life.

Still it is at least a start, myself I believe that the death has more to do with stopping reincarnation (meaning the soul would no longer be learning its "life lessons" (in a way it would be the death of the soul).
