Positivity is what makes happiness happen, in all things, even things you would never think were conscious. Volcanoes spewing magma is beneficial to the volcanoes, as well as any life not burned alive by the lava and thus everything by oxygen and carbon dioxide. Also by many other ways. This is what makes happiness. Besides this positive interaction with the self and other gives you happiness hormones. To be universally good, not that good that anyone says, but the kind that actually makes happiness. I want to say, as I forgot almost again, happiness does not come just because we think it makes us happy. Money only makes you happier if you also spend money on others, like giving money to someone who needs it.

Here's one of the sources I can find. Other, I'd hate to reduce to guess, but I guess that's what it is right?
