Important Reminder For May 1st!!

If anyone hasn't heard yet. Sunday May 1st is a very important date in broadcasting history. On the Fox Network many fans and other viewers will be delighted to know that there are new episodes of the Family Guy. Why is this important? The show ran for 5 seasons was officially cancelled put in syndication for 2 years, garnished fantastic viewer ratings in those 2 years (beating out both Jay Leno's Tonight Show and Late Night With David Letterman)then was resurrected with new shows and the return of the original cast and creators. Does anyone know of any other shows in broadcast history that did this?

Carrdero I am one of probably a handful of posters who has not seen a single episode of the family guide. Would you please tell us about the show the characters and what you enjoy about it.

Surely.
It is a show about The Griffins (Peter the husband, Lois the Wife, Chris the oldest son, Meg the middle daughter and Stewie, the maniacal toddler bent on world domination and Brian, the family's talking dog who prefers his martinis extra dry) who all reside in Quahog, Rhode Island (Batman's Adam West plays himself as the mayor). I could tell you that this is the story of an average suburban family but that would be as far away from the truth as I could get.
I enjoy the cutting edge humor and the chemistry and situations that all the characters find themselves in. Though much of the comedy seems to be satirical or for shock value, coming up with unique and effective uses for this is what tunes me in every night.

Family Guy can make the most innocent thing so very very wrong, and funny! Like when Stewie tried to stop lois and peter from having another kid, or when brian joined the police force.

family guy rocks... it's pretty much the only show i could watch with the certainty that i'd be laughing my butt off at some point.

i'm not sure how they managed to make the humor both subtle and outrageous, but... :D

I also should extend my apologies to RF member May, who just might click on this thread with the understanding that it was addressed solely to her.

Five you say? Blast! I was only aware of three.
You are correct truthseekingsoul, between the time scheduling difficulties and the late season releases I assumed it was five, my apologies.

with that being said-
LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN!!!!.................
