Indian Elections, world's largest democracy

Modi has been elected as the leader of the NDA (National Democratic Alliance). 7 independent Parliamentarians are supporting NDA, so the number now is 300 out of 543. Oath taking on June 9. Will more join NDA? Possible.

That is unfortunate. Gandhis, the two Yadavas, the Karunanidhis have swindled Indian people of billions of Rupees.
Were these dynasty people more competent than BJP people except in corruption?
Anyways fighting aside, this has been another successful democratic exercise in the most populous country of the world. There are many problems, but India remains an enduring example of how democracies can thrive and give voice to multiple views in a (relatively) peaceful manner.

Yes, except for a few places in Bihar and Bengal, the elections were conducted peacefully and honestly - even in Kashmir.
