‘A man from Surabaya, East Java has been charged with blasphemy for altering the lyrics to an Islamic song and mocking its message in the process, local police say.

On April 14, the suspect, who is identified by his initial B, uploaded a video on Instagram in which he sang the hit contemporary religious song Aisha Istri Rasulullah (Aisha the wife of the Prophet) while altering a portion of the lyrics to suggest that Aisha drank wine with her husband. B also appeared to be drinking wine in the video.

B was arrested the following day and has since been charged with blasphemy. He may face up to five years in prison if found guilty.’

Islam and the CCP are like two peas in a pod.

Very harsh punishments for those that dare to challenge authority.

Islam and the CCP are like two peas in a pod.

It doesn't make much sense to compare Islam - a religion - with the CCP - a political party/the ruling party of a country. By all means compare the ruling parties/governments of Muslim countries with the CCP.

Islam is just as much about politics as it is about religion, if not more so.

Next thing you know they'll be sleeping together. Fancy that. A man sleeping with his wife. Blasphemy.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

The things people do with their spiritual puppet God.

The religion of 'Peace' strikes yet again.

Why do I get this feeling that this man is not going to leave prison alive?

IIRC, isn't wine used in some Sufi sects?
From wiki,

There are some Muslim jurists (particularly of the Hanafi school) who take the concept of khamr literally and forbid only grape-based (or date-based) alcoholic beverages, allowing those made with other fruits, grains, or honey. This is, however, a minority opinion.

It depends upon who is looking at it.

I reckon the CCP see Islam as being more political than religious.

On what basis do you reckon that? And if that is the case, who made the CCP experts on what counts as a religion?

They are the only experts that count in China.

I doubt that they are re-educating Muslims because of their religion alone.

These 're-education camps' are as much attempts at 'Sinicisation' as anything and are akin to the attempted 'Sinicisation' of Tibet, including attempts by the Chinese government to control religion in Tibet.
