Blasphemy!!

I thought the new Jones movie was about Atlantis. It would be great if that was a joke.:)
I heard that too. Although the one thing I did find interesting was that they brought back Indy's first fling from Raiders of the Lost Ark is going to be in this one....and I guess Shia LeBeouf is Indy's kid. :cover:

OK. My thoughts briefly.

GOOD
1. Harrison Ford is looking good. I hope they don't fill the movie with "old" jokes. One or two will be fine then lets move on.

2. It has the "feel" of classic Indy (except for the CGI, which is in the BAD section below).

3. Shia LeB---. I think he's the real deal and while we didn't get to see much of him in the trailer, I'm not worried about his presense at all.

BAD
1. Lucasfilm, LTD. When that logo popped on the screen all I could think about was how horrible the Star Wars prequels were. George Lucas has a lot of talent, but when he screws up he screws up big. Rumor is, the story of this movie is the story Lucas has wanted to tell for 10+ years, but Spielberg and Ford continually said "no." Apparently, the story was modified enough to get them on board, or the emergence of classic characters on the big screen told them they could make a buck.

2. CGI. I don't recall any CGI in the previous movies. I understand it didn't really exist then like it does now. However, the CGI things running down the temple after Indy towards the end of the trailer don't look that good, IMO. They look like they came from "The Mummy" rather than an Indy flick. Indy was also very organic to me and the CGI is too sharp and bright. I have a bad feeling about this.

3. Dialogue. I didn't like Ford's lines. I did like: "You're a teacher?" "Part-time."
