For the Christians of RF is there a particular chapter or few chapters that stand out more for you than the other chapters as far as spirtual, emotional and religious signifigance. If so which chapters and what about those chapters stand out to you? If you could, list which version of the Bible you use that could be very helpful in understanding your repsonse.

The entire NT of the Bible stands out at me, to be honest.

I'm partial to the NKJV of the Bible although I also refer to the NCV, NIT and NLT when I study.

I think the entire NT is incredibly significant.

The book of John, Chapter 3...explains the new birth which is no doubt the heart of what Christianity is all about.

I think one of my favorite books of the Bible is the wee book of Jude. Jude writes on maintaining your life with God...

Verses 20-25

"But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh." Jude 20-23

Glory to God

Verses 24-25

Now to Him who is able
to keep you from stumbling
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His
glory with exceeding joy
To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise
Be glory and majesty
Dominion and power
Both now and forever.
Amen.

And as I'm partial to the NKJV...this is where these come from...

And also...a personal favorite of mine from the Book of Romans (which rocks!)...

"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk accordig to the flesh but according to the Spirit." Romans 8:1

I guess if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Philippians 2:

"Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus. Who, though he was in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death -- even death on a cross. Therefore, God also highly exalted him, and gave him the Name that is above every name, so that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

That's my favorite as well.

I can say, Rob, that I wish that Revelation never made the canon. So many Protestants make too much out of it.
