Introducing YUGO!

Djamila

Bosnjakinja
Yugo, as in Yugoslavia, is an adorable Orthodox Christian young man from Teslic, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Teslic is an interesting little town with a gorgeous Catholic Church, a few mosques in the suburbs, a famous spa resort, and a bunch of Orthodox Christians. :D

I've known Yugo probably for a few years now, I'm not sure.

Anyhow, he joined. I know he'll never make one of these on his own so voila!

Djamila

Bosnjakinja
Oh, and please don't confuse Teslic with Tesanj, a similar community that's populated by Muslims and is much better. :D

Thanks everyone! :)
Especially you, Mila!;)
I hope to bring the moderate Serb perspective on issues discussed on the forum... and of course, as is the Bosnian costume, to show of all of our rundown commieblock villages ..:D

Hands down, worst introduction ever. :) Xox

And you can show your rundown, commieblock village of Teslic all you like. ;) I've already shown them the beautiful communities where the Bosniaks and Croats live. Hahaha.

TESANJ! TESANJ! TESANJ!

They're going to give me an honorary citizenship for Tesanj, Yugo. Really they are. lol

By the way, you got your first frubals from a Muslim girl. ;) Don't tell anyone, you could be hanged. lol

Yes, its a supermarket on the first floor, and the second a restaurant.. I believe it's a Sarajevan company? I'm not sure..
As for the picture! :D
That's the new Orthodox Church located on the outskirts of our Spa resort - Banja Vrucica. It's pretty, but has been under construction for quite some time now..
A cousin of mine from Croatia (born, and raised) thought it was a mosque at first glance.. Hahahhaha...

Hahaha, nice. :) I've mistaken the pulpit for a mihrab before.

VF started in Velika Kladusa, I think.

It has to be a Velika Kladusa company, though, Yugo. Those Muslims hate Sarajevo, and they'd build something in Teslic. A company from Sarajevo would never build anything in Teslic, would they?

Remember when the Muslim guy wanted to build the thermal riviera resort in Teslic, and the municipal government said no because he wasn't Serb? He built it in Doboj, another Serb-dominated community, and made a fortune. Now Doboj gets all the biggest stars in the former Yugoslavia to play there.

I don't like a Sarajevo company would've built something that's an investment in Teslic, really. Things like banks or whatever, of course, they have to - but a private business like VF?

It's the same both ways too. When Telecom Srpske went up for sale, no Muslim companies bid for it, just the Serbian companies - and that Hungarian one? God only knows...

Oh I know, and I am still very upset about that move to our rival city of Doboj... I can't watch those comercials about Dzungla anymore! All the young people from Teslic spend their summers bussing it over to Doboj now because of the waterpark!

@ VF

I don't know where I had gotten Sarajevo from? I think I read it somewhere on a Teslic forum... I found a link to the website it's vfkomerc.ba
Look at the cities VF is in...
Sarajevo
Zenica
Lukavac;Tuzla
Travnik
SanskiMost

Tesanj;Doboj
Bihac
Gracanica

Teslic
Prijedor

Hahahahahha, almost all are Muslim! I feel proud! ;)

Sarajevo, Zenica, Travnik, Sanski Most, Tesanj, Bihac, and Gracanica are Muslim - overwhelmingly. Tuzla is very mixed, though, you know. Since the war it's much more mixed than Sarajevo. You could probably call it Bosnia's only surviving, multi-ethnic city. Lukavac is mainly Muslim but lots of Catholics there. :D

And there's no VF in Velika Kladusa, so it obviously didn't start there. lol

You'll like James, Yugo. He's kind of like a semi-Serb political nationalist without any of the religious nationalism. More or less he's you. lol
