Introvert, Extravert, or Ambivert?

I took it a while back and got ISFP. I'm definitely very much an introvert. I often keep to myself and socialising drains me.

It's fine if it's my husband but other people just suck my energy out.

Just took the test again:
You have distinctive preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)
You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (25%)
You have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (50%)
You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (11%)

Guess I've changed a little since the last time I took it. I've become more introverted (I was a moderate introvert before), and now I'm judging over perceiving.

I'm an INTJ but I'm only slightly introverted on the scale. Either ambivert or slight introvert.

I'm extroverted at work, being very assertive and social. I'm somewhat social in small group settings where I know everyone. But I'm a little bit shy around strangers or at parties, and I'm okay going for a while without social time but not okay going for a while without alone time.

what is the difference between intuition and sensing?
Abstraction over concrete.
The second continuum reflects what a person focuses their attentions on. Sensing types enjoy a learning environment in which the material is presented in a detailed and sequential manner. Sensing types often attend to what is occurring in the present, and can move to the abstract after they have established a concrete experience. Intuitive types prefer a learning atmosphere in which an emphasis is placed on meaning and associations. Insight is valued higher than careful observation, and pattern recognition occurs naturally for Intuitive types.

I think the last time I took this I was an INTJ. Looks like im feeling more than I used to :D.

I voted strong introvert on the poll. There are certain times when I feel like being around people and thoroughly enjoy it, but most of the time I feel like being alone. It can really agitate me to be around a lot of people, or just a few people depending on my mood, and its easy for me to experience sensory overload. I link this up with another interesting type of person called a Highly sensitive person.

A highly sensitive person (HSP) is a person having the innate trait of high sensory processing sensitivity (or innate sensitiveness as Carl Jung originally coined it[1][2]). According to Elaine N. Aron and colleagues as well as other researchers, highly sensitive people, who comprise about a fifth of the population (equal numbers in men and women), may process sensory data much more deeply and thoroughly due to a biological difference in their nervous systems.[3] This is a specific trait, with key consequences for how we view people, that in the past has often been confused with innate shyness, social anxiety problems, inhibitedness, social phobia and innate fearfulness,[4][5] and introversion.[6] The trait is measured using the HSP Scale, which has been demonstrated to have both internal and external validity.[6] Although the term is primarily used to describe humans, something similar to the trait is present in over 100 other species.[7][8]
I identify with that label, and it makes a lot of sense to me. I have always been sensitive to all kinds of stimuli since I was a kid. I think that sensitivity is probably a big reason that I spend time alone and it would make for a logical explanation as to why being around people tires me, and certain other introverts, out.

Also, lol at poll option "No Discernible Personality" :D

I think I'm a bigger extravert than the test recognizes. TBH, I hate being alone. It drains me. Being around people is what energizes me. But I don't really feel like making the effort to get to know most people better unless it's in the workplace in which case I can be extremely relational. I'm genuinly interested in getting to know people I work with better. In my free time I just don't have the desire to make most relationships grow with the exception of dating relationships.

It's finally happened. I've been creeping from mild introvert to extrovert over the years. Last time I took the test, many people I worked with thought it was funny that I came up mildly introverted. Now I've flipped to the dark side...

LOL! Check the link I posted.

eh too much effort :D
From the link:

"The fourth continuum reflects how the person regards complexity. Judging types will thrive when information is organized and structured, and they will be motivated to complete assignments to gain closure. Perceiving types will flourish in a flexible learning environment in which they are stimulated by new and exciting ideas"
