Intuition and answered prayers

It was the trajectory of the conversation. Both of us were coping with recent loss. This was a neighbor, newly moved in, we had just met.

No. That's interesting though.

Sometimes one can get intuition from strangers or from situation and person that intuitive person wasn't accustomed. When their intuition is correct, they attribute it to a divine source or something "of a mystery" however defined. When it happens more than once, the attribution can be more religiously contributed.

People find answered prayers through intuitions and premonitions etc that are more common than once a week, have less of a tie to what they already known causes, and it happens out of synchronicity.

So, for example, if you were talking to a stranger and tell that he or she is in grief, that's one thing. If the other showed no signs in looks, language, etc and you just picked it up out of the blue, it's more mysterious. If you picked it up before meeting him and for some reason he said something that proved your intuition is mostly what people say when something was intervening on their behalf.

That's pretty much what I mean.

Hmm... in my study, intuition is what is called the sixth body (of seven, in ascending order). Maybe “older” doesn’t indicate “lower?” (Scratches head)
I'm not sure what you mean by sixth body.

I'm thinking in terms of evolution. Intuition is more of an instinct. It evolved earlier than reason, which is conscious thought. Usually those things which are older are referred to as lower. That doesn't mean they are lesser.

Thanks. I appreciate the comment.

I usually get small ones daily and I just shrug. Sometimes I say thank you and other times I say that's weird. A lot of times I'd attribute it to my deceased aunt and grandmother. I went to a spiritual workshop at my church half a year ago and afterwards, we all felt a since of awe and connection. Made everything seem "right." It last for the night.

I figure we can strengthen our intuition-some say connection with god, consciousness, or so have you-though for the non-religious it's a wide playing ground.
Sometimes my reason and my intuition conflict. I ask myself what the subject matter is. If it has to do with people, I trust my intuition over my reason. If it has to do with a matter of science, I trust my reason.
