Is Bush really that bad?

Now granted he's done a pretty awful job in leading us but do you think Bush is as bad as the liberal media makes him out to be, does he deserve all the flack he's been getting, does he have any redeeming qualities as a leader(things he's done that actually helped us)?

Amen!

but do you think Bush is as bad as the liberal media makes him out to be
To what liberal media are you referring? See
does he deserve all the flack he's been getting
No. He's been getting off way too easy all these years. If Americans cared about the Constitution, Bush would die in prison.

does he have any redeeming qualities as a leader(things he's done that actually helped us)?
Can't think of any. Can you?

I don't have a problem with Bush. There will never be a president who will always do exactly what you'd want to do. You cannot expect to agree with him on every issue, and you cannot expect him to be perfect either. This is a difficult time to be the president of this stupid country too, and that is something you'd have to consider. This country sucks so much right now. I don't know why anyone would actually want to be the president.

The problem isn't that he's not perfect. The problem is that he doesn't even meet the bare minimum requirements for president: that he do the work, read the reports, and uphold the Constitution of the United States.

According to a recent poll, seven out of ten Americans have caught on to the fact their president isn't doing an adequate job and now disapprove of his performance. That, despite the corporate media has been on his side time and again. Maybe Lincoln was right when he said you can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.

It will be fun to see how people respond to whichever jerk wins the presidential election this time. All of the candidates suck.

W is a big disappointment; make no mistake. But he's not the monster the extreme left want to depict. This is what they want you to believe Bush is...

When, in fact it's probably closer to just this...

It's simply a lower form of power control. Someone's party isn't in control so they go ape sh#t and make every accusation in the book, repeat it over and over until the truth doesn't even matter and hope something sticks to them so they can impeach. And just like nearly every idea the far left gets, they got it from the far right when they tried to tar and feather Clinton.

Who is the "liberal media"? Air America isn't even on the air anymore, are they?

Bush has consistently pushed for tax cuts for the wealthy in spite of the damage it's been doing to the economy.

Bush has consistently supported the exportation of american jobs even to the extent of aiding such export with our own tax dollars.

Bush removed the heads of many government agencies when he first took office and replaced them with toadies of his own. The result was that many of the rank and file in those agencies quit in protest. This is why FEMA did such a terrible job responding to hurricane Katrina, and the problems in that agency still have not been fixed. Nor in the many other agencies in which he installed his toadies.

Bush has channelled unaccounted for tax dollars into religious organizations that helped him get elected president. These amounted to little more that bribes, or kick-backs to his religious cronies for their delivering to him their 'believers' votes.

Bush attacked and invaded Iraq for no reason other than that Dick Chaney convinced him of it. We then flew pallet loads of cash totalling many hundreds of millions of american dollars into Iraq to help the rebuilding effort, which immediately vanished. Chaneys friends, who are all members of Halliburton, have thus far stolen billions of dollars through Iraq, with no accounting system in place to track it. And Halliburton has recently moved it's corporate headquarters to Dubai, so that when the next administration takes over, and someone tries to find out where all that money went, they culprits will all be untouchably living in Dubai, with all that money they stole.

The Iraq invasion was not about oil. It was about outright the theft of hundreds of billions of american dollars.

The list goes on and on ...

That sounds just about right. 3 out of 10 have made a killing in the last 8 years. :D

He's been responsible for the removal of more civil liberties than other president and has a lower approval rating than Nixon had. What I want to know is why he wasn't impeached like 7 1/2 years ago when he spent most of his first 100 days on vacation.
, does he deserve all the flack he's been getting,
If I screw up at my job, don't I deserve all the flack I get?
does he have any redeeming qualities as a leader(things he's done that actually helped us)?
Well there is ONE thing, he did make that coral reef off Hawaii a national park.

I'm sure someone could make a killing by digging up The Founding Fathers' bones and selling them on Ebay.
Why do you assume that only the poor and unsuccessful are concerned about our rights and liberty? Regardless of ones political affiliation, I would assume most people prefer the leader of the free world to have a little honesty and integrity (except those who lack it themselves).

Unfortunately, there are people who prefer money to integrity, and the illusion of security to freedom.

He also established and funded PEPFAR (the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief), which is a good thing. The bad thing is that the money is earmarked for "abstinence-only" sex ed, which has been proven to be ineffective at preventing the spread of HIV.

Not only is he that bad, he's probably even worse. His administration is so secretive that it may be a while before we find out about all the nefarious goings on in the White House over the last 8 years.
