Yes, if God is souls and souls took this decision then God took this decision and logically God would be equally to blame as souls in my view.

I think you could make a better argument for indifferent rather than cruel. If cruelty was the motive behind the universe, it would all be ****, rather than just some of it being **** for some people.

God, not something i believe in however, if such a thing exists and as claimed, it is omni everything, then reading the holy books* indicates that not only is it cruel but also a sadistic genocidal maniac.

An Omni creator is, at best, indifferent or inept.

I believe we manifested from infinite intelligence, but not a living source of it. If there is a living source then it's only learning, and trying to grow. Our universe is born from an infinite sea of possibility and potential to actualize. Intellect manifests from intelligence. I believe this always was. Intellect is spawned from intelligence. Intelligence does not have to be alive to be intelligent. Intelligence has goals, and creates purposes. Intelligence solves problems, and must obey logic and possibility. Logic proceeds from what is possible. It's perpetual intelligence flowing on and on.

A living source of all this intelligence is merely exploring possibilities and working within it's limits to gain more abilities. It could be otoh, that reason and life spawns naturally from a non living platonic realm of infinite intelligence.

Either way it rolls on perpetually and reason and intellect emerge in emergent life.

Memories get blur by the time possibly they may arise or not but the experiences always remain with the soul and arise when required. Its the experiences that are carry forward, not the memories.
