I have a better brain than other animals; but in so many ways I am inferior to animals.
I can't fly, only just swim, hardly climb trees, slow runner, etc
Better, till you try to echolocate,
navigate thousands of miles, and some few
other mental capabilities of those mere animals.

The poll is HORROR!

For anyone so invested in the specialness of humanity that they must contrive their total exclusion from the animal kingdom I suppose it would be. But why insist on such a ridiculous division? For that matter why not insist that while other creatures are composed of cells and atoms, humankind is composed of God's clay and fairy dust?

I think dogs are better problem-solvers than cats and dogs are bred for certain purposes.

Dogs can also be trained to obey. I never saw a cat that was trainable. If a cat does not want to do something it is near impossible to get that cat to do it. It is a nightmare trying to groom all these Persian cats by myself. Sometimes I try to trick them with food but they figure out what I am doing pretty fast.

Cats can be trained but only a few will truly be stars.

One of the many things I love about cats is how they can ignore you in such a way that it clearly communicates to you that they are ignoring you. :tearsofjoy:
or the opposite.... they can pester you in a way that clearly communicates they are not going to leave you alone until they get what they want, which can be attention but is more often food!
