Is it over for Trump?

NC will remain a toss up until the bitter end, I'm afraid. Even with Trump’s attempts to use hurricane Helene in his favor, the lies he told that were clearly deemed false, quickly and thoroughly, there is still a strong base of GOP supporters that simply enjoy being a part of such a big Pep Squad. His "weirdness" excites them. They're fueled. And I just don't get it.

Yep. No point in even showing up to the polls. We can all finally go home. Someone hit the lights on the way out.

Thanks.
Yup, Trump is already preparing all his court cases about all the people who didn't vote because he told them they didn't need to because his polls told him he was so far ahead he was going to win New York.

I think NC will depend on how well it recovers from the hurricane damage. Thus far FEMA is doing an excellent job delivering aid. The recovery will take many months so it will be a question how communities will arrange voting.

If the recovery goes well over the next month it could be favorable for Harris.
