Is it shocking that Pelosi would berate white males?

ZOMG! Those poor white guys being called out for deciding the fate of minorities. How dare someone point out that minority being decided on is rather quite under represented.

I'm a minority but I do think that we are creating double standards against white males, that we are creating double standards promoting minorities based on actions not belonging to today's white male population.

If we really want to end all this and truly promote equality, then we have to end all these double standards.

It's not really a double standard. White men get to make decisions about women's health care with no women present. White men get to decide the fate of African American's with no African Americans around. Now we have a position where white men get to decide the fate of another group, with no one who has any stake in the issue being present. White men only make up a certain percentage of the population, but they are deciding most issues for everyone else who isn't them. I don't think anyone is saying they shouldn't have any say, but rather they have too much of a say. And when it's exclusively them getting to decide what happens to other groups, it is too much of a say.

Ok... This isn't true for every single situation. I know what specific events you are referring to but we can't generalize. That isn't fair to the white men that are not behaving in such ways. Right?

Some white men are not to blame for this. I would suggest criticizing the specific groups for such behavior, like the senators, religious leads, or educational leads. Many white males are trying to live a simple life like the rest of us.

Probably in reference to how people know the republican party as the racist party. She's pointing out how white the party is. America isn't white. She's essentially insinuating that these 5 white guys won't represent all of America.

Personally, I don't care what skin color someone is as long as they share my ideals and values, and I wouldn't presume what someone's values and ideals are based on their skin color. Of course, you can ascertain a fair bit about what and how the "five white guys" think and feel about things by their party affiliation. Their skin color has nothing to do with it.

Pointing out those things are going on isn't placing blame on white men or holding them accountable. It's doing nothing more than saying "there is something wrong with this picture" when it's a group of exclusively white men deciding an issue that they have no stake or claim in.

Your dialogue is different here than before. Much of this I would agree with.

If Pelosi did comment simply on "white males" then what problem is she really trying to solve?

Well, certain media outlets won't announce the fact that she's talking about white men deciding on DACA without any minority input.

I think opinions on all sides familiar with the topic should be included.

let's look at an overall measure

Hmm People trust Trump more than Hillary.
Donald Trump Leads Hillary Clinton on Trustworthiness: Poll
The Republican presidential nominee leads his Democratic rival on honesty and trustworthiness by eight points in a Washington Post-ABC News poll, which found 46% of likely voters saying Trump is more honest and deserving of trust.
