Is It Time For The 25th Admendment?

The deal was picking a qualified woman. Because they often get overlooked because they're a woman.

As have stated twice now "she may have been the best qualified woman"

But you are right, the deal was if he got the nomination he would pick a woman for VP.

So Biden, responding to the popular notion that maybe we ought to have more female leadership in the country, delivered, and (since we elect our leaders based on the quality and qualifications of their actions-or that's the idea anyway!) we voted him in.

That doesn't exactly seem nefarious and "DEI" in the derogatory use of the term.

It seemed that Biden delivered on something the public popularly wanted (more female leadership) and we have a qualified female VP and potential President.
I'm not against females being in leadership posistions. The talk was why was a female(her) was picked. A female was picked because of a trying to get the nomination promise.

As I stated she may have been the best qualified woman. Biden picked her(a woman) because that was a promise he made to trying get the nomination.
IOW... You do this for me, (give him the nomination) and I do this for you, (pick a woman for VP.)

Biden had to fulfill his nomination promise to pick a woman if given the nomination or even his own party would have shunned him.

He's supposed to "do this for you." He's a public servant.

I think the prevailing narrative is that he could not manage another 4 years, and he has just over 4 months of a presidency left. Those are two different things.

I've been on the fence about whether Biden stepping down was a good idea or not, and I still think it's risky, but given Republican reactions to it now, I am starting to think it is a good idea. There seems to be real fear about Kamala Harris being the nominee.
She is younger and more mentally fit.
However I can understand all the frustration in the Trump camp. They spent many millions campaigning against Biden. Now with Biden dropping out all that money was spent for nothing.

Her experience as a DA, senator, and vice-president suggests otherwise here. Have evidence? Otherwise this is just partisan hot air.
And as a Senator sitting on the Judiciary Committee, I thought her questioning of Brett Kavanaugh in 2016 was pretty incisive. I didn't see any particular lightweight thinking then, or 4 years later when she likewise questioned Amy Coney Barrett.

1) Biden can step down for any reason he wants,
eg, retirement, becoming a Walmart greeter, failing
health, improving health, getting his freak on full time.
I've been waiting....you're the first one who has pointed this out. So that's a winner for you. I note that he would also be entitled to withdraw if he died, or won El Gordo lottery and decided to retire to the Chicken Ranch.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Look at how long the People's Democrat Party lied about Biden and denied his condition and now all the sudden they're going to tell the truth?

Their up front puppet president is not even a good puppet anymore, which is why he was eliminated as a nominee and it's notable right after Obama helped guide Biden off the stage that the game was over and a quick announcement by Biden that he was stepping down.

These people can't be trusted to govern the country.

These are my thoughts, almost exactly.

I've been on the fence a bit about it, and then I watched the Republican meltdown and I'm starting to think it was a good move. They're really, really freaked out right now.
Oh I'm sure the freak out will be quite apparent when the election results come out in November. I have a feeling it'll be something like this.....

Look at the book compiled of Trump's lies, specifically the big lie.

Trump and MAGA shouldn't be trusted to "govern" the country.

So, some guys in the background lie, so you want to hand the country to the one guy known to lie with every word he speaks? And who is promising to hire guys in the background who lie almost as much as he does. Veerrryyy clever. How did you manage to think that one up?
