So Biden cancles his campaing for the presidency.
We don't know if he was forced out by the party elite putting the party before the country but my opinion is yes.
The corrupt DNC has said that if Biden continues he will lose the election and cause many down ballot Democrats to lose their election thus losing the Senate and a giving the Republicans bigger majority in the House.
Now if they try and spin it that it is because of health reason (which it is obvious Biden has lost it) then either he steps down as President voluntarily now or the 25th Admendment is used to remove him for office.
Thoughts....
1) Biden can step down for any reason he wants,
eg, retirement, becoming a Walmart greeter, failing
health, improving health, getting his freak on full time.
2) Political parties are all about leaders ("elites" as
you &
@Estro Felino love to call them) & members
debating, bickering, maneuvering, voting, & eventually
settling upon candidates they run & finance. This is
normal, democratic, perfectly legal, & done by both
(& other) parties.
3) There is no requirement of any kind that a candidate
who leads before their party's convention must be the
one the party runs for election.
4) The 25th Amendment appears premature. Biden
doesn't appear to be faltering in Presidential duties.
My biggest problems with Biden are things he did
when younger, & still does, eg, support civil forfeiture,
support Israel's brutal oppression of Palestinians.
5) Republicans appear quite upset that Bide is being
replaced.
- Fear that Trump's prospects have worsened?
- Their entire campaign was against faults attributed
to a former candidate, but not the one running?
- Willing to once again attempt subversion of
democracy by allowing only Biden to run for Prez
as a Dem.
- More worried that Vance was a poor choice as VP.
