Is Lilith a Luciferian Deity?

Jessiya

New Member
I have a calling from Lilith, I know it's from her. However I am coming up blank in most of my research here.

I was wondering if she was a Luciferian Deity. If so... should I be searching for her in the left hand path of Luciferian? Would that turn up more results?

If so... does anyone have any suggestions of what I should be looking for? Books, Rituals, ect...

From what i know, lilith was the first wife of adam who refused to be submissive towards him and so god banished her from the garden of eve and then created eve. I know that she is a Feminist icon and also know some pagans who worship her as well. I dont know how it would fit into lucifarianism though, but im sure that it would work.

I just dont knoiw where to start my research... Because I see people worshipping Lilith AND Lucifer together- which is the core base of Luciferianism

Yes, Lilith has a place in Luciferianism.

A common take I come across, and you'll find this with people like Michael W. Ford, is that Lilith is the consort of Lucifer/Satan/Samael. She is seen as the first human being to spiritually awaken and cast off the chains of Yahweh/subservient religion (the second was Eve). Basically, Lucifer took a liking to her and imbued her with spiritual light (or the Black Flame, as some call it). She got kicked out of Eden for being a naughty girl, much like Satan was kicked out of Heaven for being rebellious. Cain is often viewed as the child of Lucifer and Lilith in these systems.

These people talking about "Lilith getting kicked out of Eden" do not appear to be very familiar with that particular myth...

It actually describes how Lilith left on her own accord. She had no desire to remain with Adam as an inferior, so she went away from him and screamed out the forbidden name of God, and was transformed into a demon. She then had the power to leave Eden on her own.

God even sent three angels after her. They found her hovering over the Red Sea. She declined their offer to return and was cursed.

So no, in the original myth that describes this event, Lilith was not "banished" or "kicked out of Eden".

Of course, people may believe what they Will, and evolve myths as they Will to strengthen their own spiritual-religious systems, and I encourage that. However, when discussing the portrayal of deities within their original myths and cultures, I do think it is important to try and be as accurate as possible.

It should also be noted that in Judaism, the term "lilith" often simply refers to female demons.

While I feel it will benefit you to study Lilith's portrayal in various spiritual-religious systems and cultures (Judaism and collective Abrahamic mythology, modern Satanism and Luciferianism, etc) one can always evolve or enhance her archetypal attributes and portrayal within your own subjective universe. One can draw inspiration from other mythologies for this while utilizing your own passions and imagination, to syncretize or evolve a deity into something your pantheon requires... something beneficial to your own cause, your own Will and Weltanschauung and your own goals and ambitions.

The goddess Ishtar began in Sumer as Inanna, but was experienced differently by the Babylonians and the Assyrians as Ishtar, and even more differently by the Canaanites and Phoenicians as Ashtoreth. Many believe this was the origins of the Abrahamic demon "Astaroth"; we can see how deities evolve through the peoples who integrate them into their culture and pantheons.

If anything, contemplate how Lilith might be experienced and evolved through you... by drawing from the past but embracing the present, and considering the future.

From my own understanding of the myth, Lilith had it with Adams reign of inferiority and authoritarianism. So Lilith simply chose to rebell against his authority becoming a lover to the fallen angel or demon Samael. She then became known as the mother of demons and in my opinion the seducer as well. Then came Eve, Adams second wife. Samael mounted onto Eve baring them a child by the name of Cain.

It might seem off subject, but it seems a bit similar to my own situation. I believe what I still believe in, but at times I try to remember things. It has been a while for me to get back into Magick I have been having doubts about trying to give it another try to Practice Magick again. But I try to still remember the archetypes that I still cling onto, but at times I try to want to give this another step by kindve evolving it. The main problem that I have is I feel as if I do not have a strong desire to perform Workings as I used to. I don't necessarily have a stronger spiritual religious system as much, I am more Atheistic in that sense than of a theist. I dont necessarily feel anything spiritual everyday, but I've always gained something spiritual with Magick.

Lilith is the ruler of the Qliphoth sphere of Gamaliel, so she does have a place in Luciferian thought, especially for those who work the Qliphoth. (Luciferians work with a very broad range of archetypes.)
The Way the Qliphoth sphere Gamaliel interacts with the Qliphoth Sphere Samael does indeed seem like a "marriage" of sorts.

As for her being a deity and not an archetype, who can say?

Would you mind sharing what the calling and experience was like?

It's hard to explain... without sounding kinda "crazy" but here-goes;

I kept hearing her name in passing thoughts. And then I drew her sigil one day while in school... I believe I was in anatomy, I didn't know what it was. I actually got yelled at by the doctor teaching that class for not paying attention. Through the passing period to my clinical class I was quite confused, and distant from my friends, as I contemplated that sigil.

The calling stopped for a while, then maybe about Summer of 2016, I started to draw the sigil again. And the name started coming up again everywhere. When I took a picture someone pointed out that is the sigil of Lilith.
To me that is a "calling," and ever since I have felt drawn to her, to worship her as a deity.

I feel Lilith and I have a "connection" of sorts, knowing that she is more of a feminist deity. And yes, I am a bit of a Feminist, I have been for years. There are a few more major aspects which I dare not share, as they are deeply personal

Or our memories are just hazy. Or there's more than one version of the story. Either way, it's interesting.

I mean I feel it is very possible that she left. Because yeah... I mean men can be oppressive. I know she is depicted by some to be "the first feminist" in a manner of speaking. She probably left adam, because she had a mind of her own. That IS one thing that attracts me to Luciferianism is women and men seem to be seen as equals rather than having one gender as inferior.

Lilith is the female element and symbolizes the feminine principle, the activating power and energy. Satan is the male element and symbolizes consciousness, the masculine principle.
Together these two spiritual elements are the Shakti Energy, which is the most important.
Its the foundation for a conscious life, and the fuel that empowers your spiritual growth and inspires you to find purpose and fulfillment. We can furthur see Lilith's origins in the East. She is NOT a Hebrew Goddess nor did she originate from the Talmud. Her name itself derives from "Lalita" or "Lalitha." Here she was revered as the extremely beautiful and Beloved Divine Mother who combines with Shiva (Satyam-Satan) and becomes One, which represents the creation of the Soul. Satan rules the base or root (1st) chakra, which is where the Kundalini Serpent resides. Lilith rules the Crown (7th) Chakra which is symbolized by a Lotus or Lily. The unification of Satan and Lilith indicates the risen serpent, the male and female. Lilith was also referred to as "Lalita Devi" and "Devi" which is where the corruption of Devil came from. Devi represents the Serpent Power. The empowerment of this energy forms the Light of the Soul. This brings one to great perfection and Eternal Life. Lilith also has etymological ties to the Sumerian Term: LÍL-TI which means The Spirit of Life.

Thats the information I know about Mother Lilith, thats just from my own perspective and what I know about Her. If you want to connect more with Mother Lilith you can go into a deep trance first then invoke Her by vibrating "LILITH" 40x, 50x or 108x. ❤️

Uh, you bring up a lot of good points, but much of it is utterly unhistoric to my knowledge. You conflate a lot of cultures into one which historically had hardly any connection.
Just some examples: The words devi and devil have nothing to do with each other, etymologically. Devi is related to words like deus (Latin for god) and Tyr (a Germanic deity). Devil is a corruption of diabolos (Greek for slanderer).
Where in the east do you see the origins of Lilith? You say she is both from India and from Sumeria, that seems to be a contradiction.
While I myself see many similarities between Shiva and Satan, I would never equate them - to me, Satan is the All, and Shiva a certain aspect of it, namely consciousness. And that is just my own interpretation of Satan, not considering all the other interpretations which often have even less in common with Shiva.
And btw, pretty much every chakra is symbolized by a lotus (or lily, if we want to compare that), so that's hardly an argument.

Oh, and sorry for stepping into a DIR which is not exactly my own, but this thread looks like it is also directed to other LHPers.

As far as Lilith ritual--the first Qliphoth ritual is often combined with Na'ammah and Lilith. I'd say this is probably the best place to start. There's an image of ritual I did to transition from the carnal triad of the Qliphoth to the Mental triad of the Qliphoth which involved Lilith here.

We simply have different paths, Satanism is extremely diverse. In True Ancient Satanism Satan is also Shiva, the Sumerian God Enki/Ea, the Egyptian God Ptah, Phanes, Oannes, Prometheus, the Hindu God Agni, Dionysus, Loki, Odin, Melek Ta'us, Legba, Enkai, ect. Demons are also Norse, Indian, Hindu, African, Egyptian, Sumerian, Greek, ect Gods/Goddesses [like Lilith is also Mother Kali for example].
You can visit this thread to gain a better understanding on our beliefs: The Devil is a derogatory term for the word Devi

That might be your personal view, that I'll grant you. But you seem to present it as historic facts, while it clearly has nothing to do with history.

I have heard some luciferians using her in rituals I doubt for worship as most do not worship or believe in real deities.
