Is Sarah Palin Finished?

That even frightens me, Phil. It is a sad commentary on politics when we look to Comedians for "insight" however.

Ironically, you might agree with Stewart on that, for he's said much the same thing. In contrast to both of you though, I recall that the court jester has long been a source of insight and wisdom in Western cultures, and it is arguable that Stewart, or any other political comedian, is just continuing in that tradition.

Plus I honestly think she has a sort of crazed look in her eyes. Right up there with that crazy *** Pelosi look.

Palin really scares me *-less. Her crazed look is part of that, but what she actually says is even worse. She's nuts, and very dangerously so.

Palin doesn't scare me. She'll be looking more and more like Dick Cheney as the months wear on.

Then with any luck she will slip into oblivion.

Nobody who believes the "end times" are imminent and desirable should have a nuclear arsenal at her disposal. If Ahmedinejad shouldn't have nukes, neither should Palin. I hope she's finished. I really do.

She has to be done. A gimmick can be used once or twice but to think that she could have a sustained political career in the limelight would be foolish.

Well, we'd have a better case for nuclear disarmament.

What's scary is that so many people are obsessed with her...if she's so big a threat that she commands such attention, it shows
she might become electable in coming decades. Bigger dunderheads & dimbulbs have won elections...even the presidency.

If that were the case, we wouldn't be here.

Not even people drunk off their booties are as dumb as Palin. The GOP may as well put a sack of hammers up as a candidate.

People are enamored with her because she used to be hot and she's telling them what they want to hear (albeit not in complete sentences). She just needs to fumble over a few words and they love it.

One major reason the GOP lost so big to Obama is that Bush was so unpopular they did not take the election seriously. Large givers did not want to waste their money on a loss and regular folks stopped believing in the present GOP and fixated on Reagan. Sarah Palin is the embodiment of the GOP's unwillingness to play ball - the GOP allowed a complete donut to be the VP candidate and they lost. Not because of Palin, but because they weren't serious about the campaign.

In light of Bush's extreme failures and unpopularity, the GOP had to do some soul searching and the Tea Party was its ******* child.

If Palin is anywhere near the 2012 campaign, it will be a sign that [yet again] the GOP does not believe it has a serious shot at the White House. But since they have some momentum now, I don't see any reason why they would want another moron President like Bush. We'd have two one term Presidents in a row, with possibly two more if the country remains as divided as it is.

It's easy to hurl empty epithets at Palin & Tea Partiers when Democrats don't hold up their own chosen ones to the same standards.
Come on....really, you guys want to tell me that having Biden a heartbeat away from the nuclear button is a good thing? I have no
desire to see Palin as VP, but Biden is the Jar Jar Binks of the political world. There must be something compelling about Palin if
so many see a great need to conduct a continual campaign against her.

I'm more concerned with the self-identity of the GOP than the stupidity of Palin.

Biden's stupidty is a symptom of something else entirely.

In any event, it's unfortunate that stupidity is no impediment to being elected prez or VP.
I see no signs of superior mental prowess in Obama either. On top of that, he entirely
lacked any managerial experience, something we're paying for now.
Hmmmm....I wonder....is attacking Palin just a useful diversion from Obama's failure's?

O come on now. That's below the belt.
