Is there someone who practices astral projection?

Hello Guys,

Is there someone who practices astral projection? Or maybe lucid dreaming?

I am interested in the topic, but I do not now how to start..... :)

Thank you in advance for your help.

I have sleep apnea. It cause me to stop breathing for about 1 mins or less. My brain detects danger and wakes me up. But my body cant which seems like a malfunction from the brain. It merely wakes my self-awareness.

I find myself in the room i'd felt asleep. My brain projects the appearance into the darkness to have something as an orientation. The panic which i notice i am in a dream can get frightening. And that could wake me up. Sometimes it's faking me as if i am awake to life but i am not - it just resets my dream. I can force myself to push more panic until i am awake. As i am awake again I feel that my body trembles, my heart beats fast as adrenlin runs through my veins. If i want to stay in this dream which can occurs because of my exploring nature i use to control fear with trust and positive emotions triggered when i take time to realize what i expect to find in my subconsciousness as i see it as an own realm aside our life.

Astral projection seems to be another, less dangerous, entrance.

No, her occurrences happen when she is wide awake. When she sleeps she has 'visited' other 'realities' (again, it's hard to find terms to really describe what she experiences. BTW, she also sees auras.) Her nephew tends to visit places more on this plane of awareness. These two are otherwise normal people. They don't read palms or dabble in the occult, they're just everyday people with special abilities.

Amazing....I have always wanted to experience something like that! I dreamed about visiting other worlds and communicating with different creatures.

I'm not a huge fan of the term, although I use it sometimes out of convention. But yes, I practice it, what are you curious about? :)

Are there any guidelines or books to read to learn how to do astral projections? Is it safe? No daemons that can take over your body when your astral body is away?

What? Me worry?

What you are looking for is always around you; you just have to learn how to access it. No daemons as far as that goes but there are dark energies that can attach themselves to you if you don't know how to protect yourself. This is something you should take seriously. If you are going to try this you need to find someone to guide you.

On thing I point out to folks is that when you encounter something in a dream that is clearly impossible you should begin to realize, "I must be dreaming". If you can become aware of that in a dream, while staying within the dreamscape, interesting things can occur.
Indeed. I can warp reality, stop time, fly, etc. :)

Just an update. A few weeks ago my wife and I had the exact same dream at the exact same time. It occurred as I was drifting off. It was very vivid both in sound and content. I had to wake myself up because I realized this was more than a dream (I am not particularly psychic at all). When I asked my wife if she had had any strange dreams during the night she described my dream exactly. She was in my dream and she perfectly described the place where we met up in the dream. Part of the dream was a very deep, very soul pervasive, chanting/singing by a man just out of the picture. She had heard the exact same chanting. Being use to this she stayed for the whole "dream" which ended in a wooded area. Weird, huh?

No Astral projection here. But every night a lucid dreamer. Been a lucid dreamer since I was little. Not sure if you can have a step-by-step approach to doing it. I would think it would be easy to recognize when you are dreaming if you have a recurring dream. As you should already be aware that such a dream is a dream. In general I am very analytical and it could be a by-product of that, and perhaps memory has some play in it so maybe try to build your memory. I don't know that it is something comparable to Astral projection. It is just entertaining.
