Thank you Peace. This should make some people feel a lot better, I know I do!Peace said:Peace be with you ori,
The following hadith, which I already posted it in the Islamic section, answers your question:
Ibn Abbas (The Prophet's cousin), may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, related from his Lord (glorified and exalted be He):"Verily Allah has recorded the good deeds and the evil deeds." Then he clarified that: "Whosoever intends to do a good deed but does not do it, Allah records it with Himself as a complete good deed; but if he intends it and does it, Allah records it with Himself as ten good deeds, up to seven hundred times, or more than that. But if he intends to do an evil deed and does not do it, Allah records it with Himself as a complete good deed; but if he intends it and does it, Allah records it down as one single evil deed." [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]We can see very clearly the mercy of God upon us and thank Him for that day and night. The bad thoughts and the intention to do an evil act won't be counted unless you do it. If you have that intention to do an evil act and you refrain from doing it God will count it as a good deed. How Merciful God is towards His servants!!!
Peace
