Do all these Muslim groups follow the same Quran?
In a sense you could consider each interpretation of the Quran as being a different Quran.

Defending themselves from all those evil, conspiring, unarmed Jews who refused to accept Muhammad as a prophet of their god and probably weren't thrilled with having a bandit chief in their city. Not like there was any ulterior motive for Muhammad's decision to order the Banu Qurayza's destruction or anything...

The Banu wanted to kill Muhammed because they controlled the pilgrimage.. He had interrupted their revenue streak.. They had over 300 idols there.

I'm pretty sure you're mixing up the Qurayza (a Jewish tribe from Medina) with the Quraysh (the ruling tribe of Mecca). The Qurayza didn't do idols; they were Jewish.
Also why do you assume the Quraysh were purely in it for the money? Has it never crossed your mind that the Quraysh and other native Meccans might have been genuinely offended by the fact Muhammad spent the better part of 12 years between his first revelations (at 40) and his migration to Medina in 622 slandering their beliefs, effectively belittling their ancestors and attacking their very identity?
The gods worshipped in Mecca weren't just the Quraysh's gods. They were the gods of Arabia generally and Mecca specifically. They would have been a huge part of tribal/societal identity.
How is this relevant to what you and I are discussing?
Neither is attacking lightly-defended trade caravans like a bandit.
Says the one who thinks a Jewish tribe benefited from idols.

The Banu Qurayza were a Jewish tribe which lived in northern Arabia, at the oasis of Yathrib (now known as Medina), until the 7th century, when their conflict with Muhammad led to their demise.
The Quraysh was a powerful merchant tribe of the Arabian Peninsula in the seventh century.
It controlled Mecca, where it was the custodian of the Kaaba, the sacred Pagan shrine and destination for pilgrims that became Islam's most sacred shrine.

Yes, I know all this. We were talking about the Banu Qurayza and you then said "the Banu wanted to kill Muhammad as they controlled the pilgrimage... he had interrupted their revenue streak". That reads like you're mixing up the Qurayza with the Quraysh. I'm 100% confident I'm not the only one who will have read it like that.
Read back on your own previous post if you don't believe me.
Qurayza supported the Maccan pagans in the battle of the trench.
They were punished according to Torah, Deuteronomy 20:12-14;
"But if the city makes no peace with
you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it; and when the Lord your God gives it into your hand you shall put all its males to the sword, but the women and the little ones, the cattle, and everything else in the city, all its spoil, you shall take as booty for yourselves; and you shall enjoy the spoil of your enemies, which the Lord your God has given you."
. . . so do some or many Christians consider different interpretations blasphemy.

In the UK, they are trying to make Blasphemy against Islam a criminal offence.
Don't they call it hate speech?
If you would consider each interpretation of the evening paper as being a different evening paper..
Actually blasphemy is inflammatory and promotes violence against other religions and denominations, and often can be subtle and indirect, and not obvious or blatant. In fact Judaism has been more victimized by blasphemy than any other religion or denomination in history. Actually, blasphemy against Judaism is in some way illegal as forms of 'hate speech' in the USA, UK and some other countries.

So in other words Muhammad took a section of the Torah completely out of context and used it as a justification for mass-murder and slavery (of the tribe's women).
Just like the jihadists of our day.
He used the torah to choose them a punishment according to their own law, fair, no? Actually it wasn't him who did that, but a person he chose to do it.
Slavery is justified in the Torah regardless of context.

Not really as he took the verse out of its context in order to do it. Also he wasn't a Jew and had no authority to sit in judgement over the Qurayza nor to interpret their scripture for them.
@Tumah @Flankerl @RabbiO, what do you make of this notion that Muhammad used a passage from Deuteronomy to judge the Banu Qurayza according to 'Jewish law'? Do you think the Qurayza would have been okay with a non-Jew doing this?
