Isn’t Atheism a faith-based non-religion?

Ha. You are a theist and have a little atheism going on as well, as is plausibly true for everyone.

You are just an atheist, period. Not theist at all.

If I am an atheist, I'm the type that knows God exists. Is that strong atheism?

By giving yourself the right to impose a certain (and recklessly inflated at that) take on it on everyone else.

That is just dishonest.

If full fledged atheism includes knowing God exists, then I am fully fledged atheist. Got any more ad homs?

You are only lying to yourself. You will eventually realize this. It might take some time though. Come back to me once it happens.

Said a fellow theist.

I'm willing to bet it will never happen and that you will realize you are full fledged theist.

The first step is denial. The second is fighting. It takes some time to advance through the steps. Don't worry, that's normal.

Bingo.

No, it actually doesn't, although many people seem to have convinced themselves otherwise.

Strange that lots of people manage to use it to refer to the same thing then.

If someone said "an aggressively anti-theistic form of secular humanism" would you also argue that this has no referent?

There is also a 12-step programme. At your first meeting you have to stand up and say "I'm a theist". :p

I hope I have exemplified the problem that comes with taking the high ground and saying that someone is theist or atheist when they say otherwise. By itself it simply adds nothing to the conversation.
