I agree in principle. Disagree in practice.

Freedom of speech is a cornerstone in this country.

A cornerstone, yes, but there is a long history of trying to define whether or not there are limitations (such as yelling "fire" I a crowded theatre and causing a panic which leads to injury or death). And it is certainly true that in the last 2 centuries, the Supreme Courte has held that some forms of speech or expression can be regulated. Incitement to do violence, for example.
