I am loving the Sunday-night Jane Austen remakes on Masterpiece! Now they're on Pride and Prejudice, the best one, which is not remade and does not need to be. I can't wait for the new Emma since I was never in love with the Gwynneth Paltrow version. But anyway, in the next life, I need to make sure I let Ms. Austen know how much good, clean, fun her books brought to my life...I'll use the phrase, "ardently admire and love..."

Is this in on public television??? Are they the BBC productions? (The BBC production of Pride & Prejudice w/ Colin Firth is one of my favorite movies.) I'm a huge Jane Austen fan and would hate to miss something like this.

Yes!!! Sunday nights, on PBS. The first segment was last night though there may be a replay in the next couple days. Already there has been Northanger Abbey, Mansfield Park, and Jane Austen Regrets (A so-so story of her life). The first two were not the best. Oh, and Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte. That was a good one!! But nothing beats Lizzy Bennet and Mr. Darcy, when he watches her playing piano....ahhhh.

Cool! Thanks.

Indeed....that has to be one of the most memorable moments in the whole six-hour length of the movie. That, and when, near the beginning, he snubs her at the dance. "She's tolerable, I suppose.....but not handsome enough to tempt me...."
