Jeb! unleashes the Dubya

After months of seemingly distancing himself from the Bush name, Jeb! is bringing his brother along the campaign trail in South Carolina to hopefully boost his chances and give him the edge over his establishment opponents, and has featured him in one of his latest ads.

Thoughts? Will bringing the former President along boost his chances or hinder them? It appears recently that George Bush is a lot more popular than he was when actually serving, and I guess he'll be received pretty well in the south?

It is a risky gamble for sure. Dubya is still used in Democratic circles in an attempt to lure in independent/centrist voters.

What? Me worry?
Too little too late in a campaign that wasn't going anywhere to begin with, imo.

Hey you never know he could beat the other establishment candidates and come 3rd or something. :p

He seems to have regained some of his support in New Hampshire, he talked big about his 4th place finish. I doubt last year he ever imagined being pleased with a 4th place finish though hahah.

I think it is tad premature to write off the entrenched political power that is the Bush family. Had W. not done so much damage to the country I have no doubt that they would be the Republican Clintons.
It's a long shot to be sure. But there is a lot of that going around this year.

...Does..does Jeb want to be President? Because this screams of someone trying desperately to lose.

I read an interesting article earlier. It is on a favorite political website of mine. Five thirty eight.com is less biased and more accurate than most.
The bit is called, from memory, "GOP death match: Three will enter. One will win. Probably the right to lose to Donald Trump."

He managed to blow up the economy and trash the middle east and send the USA debt through the ceiling.
What have you done lately?

Um, I made a blueberry bagel for a girl in the office because she was too busy for breakfast.

I shall subside.
