I'd be interested in knowing the reasons why a judge would rule not to release it. It makes it appear as if there's some sort of cover up.

Probably just a case of its release causing issues with any potential investigation.

The black book was never actually ruled to be authentic or connected to the sex trafficking operation. Which means that it could have been a faked hit list meant for public incrimination without cause, which is what some previous lists were. Amounting to way more unsubstantiated gossip and finger pointing than actual fruitful investigation, and possibly even getting in the way of legitimate investigation.

It was ruled to be held sealed after the judge who still had undecided motions as part of the hearing in the case died. (Robert Sweet)

It may be released in the future, but public intrigue doesn't trigger public release of routinely sealed court records. Just beurocracy being beurocracy.

Not that it's going to stop the rags from accusing everyone they don't like. From Trump to the Clinton's to Musk, all of which have has social contacts with Epstein and Maxwell.
