Nothing my eye, Something for sure
So at the end of it all you jw's are going to warn us unto death of Gods wrath to come. And if we dont know that your God is real, your God is going to destroy us for all of eternity. So my very life depends on knowing God is real, and then having faith in God?Sorry, I didn't know the answer had to be laced with emotion. I answered the question with the facts. If I lived my life feeling overwhelmed about all the injustices in the world, I think I might have topped myself way before now.....and that is just the human suffering....don't get me started on what humans are doing to animals, which are also God's creation. My compassion is tempered with hope for a better future.....promised by the Creator of it all....what hope is your compassion tempered with? Can you count on man to fix this mess...? You better not hold your breath.
Did I shrug it off? No injustice sits well with any fair minded person. I expect that compassion will come with people who are without unfounded prejudices. There will always be people who look at injustice and see justice. It all depends on our perspective and how we view the rights of others.
JW's take their queues from God's word....and we leave the judgment up to him. He makes the rules for us and he tells us that injustice can be expected in a world where his rules don't mean much.
I do think you are very sincere, but i gotta take a whole bunch of stuff as literal history and literal truth to be saved?
