The New Testament says that the Pharisees accused Jesus of having a demon, of casting out demons by Beelzebub, and other such attacks. Any reason you want to know?

Well according to the New Testament and Christian history the Pharisees were responsible for the deaths of quite a few of Jesus' disciples. Like St. James the brother of Jesus for example. Christian history says that the Pharisees pushed James off the temple roof, and then stoned him to death on the ground, while he prayed for his enemies.
