I looked at the Wiki article you linked to, but found nothing saying Jesus can grant wishes, only mention of people praying for wishes to be granted. Maybe I missed something. Can you direct me to the part of the article that says what you say it says?Jesus can grant wishes! Wish - Wikipedia

Not really…. He is still alive.I shouldn't think so, he's been dead 2000 years.
But I'm sure if you believe in jesus he can grant comfort
But we understand that the Gospel is not just factual but true.Oh good!
For my first wish, I wish that people didn't present beliefs as definitive fact.
I really can’t agree with the wording or even this process of novenas although God wants to answer prayers. We have to take all of the Bible to balance a thought such as:Here it is?
Religion[edit]
In Christianity, especially among Roman Catholic, Lutheran and Anglican denominations, believers pray novenas to request a favour they wish to obtain.[2]
The sentence doesn’t say Jesus can grant wishes. It simply says that believers pray for their wishes to be realized. Here it is?

No "we" don't.But we understand that the Gospel is not just factual but true.
Try it and report back here.I wonder what would happen if I rubbed Christ's belly. Would I get wishes granted? Would I have seven years of good luck? Would I just be profaning another religious icon?
It also doesn't mention who they're praying to. It could be the Virgin Mary or the Holy Spirit for all we know. The sentence doesn’t say Jesus can grant wishes. It simply says that believers pray for their wishes to be realized.
I'll have to go out, in the cold, across town to buy a crucifix. This was supposed to be a lazy day.Try it and report back here.
You could save a few dollars and just stop by a Catholic Church or hospital...I'll have to go out, in the cold, across town to buy a crucifix. This was supposed to be a lazy day.
LOL… but “we” Christians do.No "we" don't.

I wish the same thing. I hope it works. My second wish is that people didn't proselytize and preach about their religious beliefs.
