yes, that is true about being the jewish messiah. but aren't his teachings heart warming about peace and love?
So (to take just one example) was Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People.

Do you study and practice his teachings?

Greek demi-god. Killed a lot of people. Did 12 renowned labours.

What makes Jesus more compelling than Heracles? Where do you set your bar so that Jesus clears it but Heracles doesn’t?

I've never viewed it as a contest between deities. That would be like a 'Holy fight night.'

Jesus never said to worship him, Mathew 4:10 Jesus says" worship your lord my lord and your God and my God and him alone no one else. Old testaments say' God is one only worship him alone. Jesus never preached what early trinitarian or trinitarian of today worshiping, When Saint Paul came to the disciples of Jesus, he was saying and preaching something else, they realized what he says it's all against the preaching of Jesus message, they cursed him and kicked him out of their congregation. the true followers of Jesus they were Unitarian, they believed that Jesus was not God son, he was God messenger like Adam and Ibrahim and Moses, they all preach one God. Today Christian are not following Jesus they are following Paul.

the difference is that jesus died for our sins.
A statement like this would mean you've rejected Yeshua to me... As he didn't come to die for our sins; that is what was made up after by John, Paul, and Simon the stone (petros).

In my opinion.

And Heracles defeated several gods in combat.

Edit: how do you get from "the story says Jesus died for our sins" to "we ought to accept the story as true"?
yes but jesus gave his own life. and it is true. he spoke about forgiveness and his grave is empty.

I deny all teachings that doesnt help me spiritually from Wiccan, Quran, Scientology, Bible, so forth.

What does the bible have that I cannot obtain through the path I follow?

Cant be god. Many religions have god.

Cant be salvations. Many religions have concepts of salvation.

Cant be love and kindness. Many religions if not all teach this.

Cant be dependent on scripture. There are more than thousands of The Buddha's teachings. He has direct instructions for every situation man has been in. Very well spoken in both analogy and directness.

Why would I Not deny the bible?
weren't you taught christianity when you were young? if yes, then why did you leave?

No. I went into the Church at thirty two. I left five years later because I never believed in god and I dont care for human sacrifice. None of the bible makes me feel good about myself. I had no motivation to improve myself just feel the good parts of prayer. Feeling rather than fact.

That's a belief, not a provable fact. There's no historical evidence outside of the gospels to support any of it. Some people believe it, others don't. I don't, but that doesn't negate what he (or those writing in his name) taught. Homer is believed to have been a fictitious writer, a conglomeration. but that doesn't negate the work "he" left us.
yes, it isn't provable. but i believe it to be true. never was the body of jesus found.

Exactly which of his teachings helped convince you to accept him as the one and only savor of your soul? I assume you looked into the teachings of all the other great religious figures and have found them wanting. That about it?

Many people were also moved by Adolph Hitler's promise to give them a better life and rid the country of Jews, gypsies, and communists. So what is it, you simply tag along with the crowd?

.
love is godly in jesus' teachings. other figures don't point out love that much.

I think the problem with this whole thread and discussion is the people who are fans of Jesus just can't imagine why other people are not as enthusiastic as they are. So they use the word "deny" when it's really more like a lack of motivation because what is being sold is not that convincing.

I'm not sure what you mean, but "deny" is a rather strange choice of words. It confuses me kinda like the question "why do people deny football?"
deny, i mean reject his teachings, deny he is god. deny his life and death and resurrection.

There is no love in Christianity. If there were, we would not have so much war and killing of our enemies. How many bombs are we going to drop in the Middle East before people just accept our Christian nation is one of war and hate. Not one of love and forgiveness.

Here's Christian love in action:

More than 200 civilians killed in suspected U.S. airstrike in Iraq
