Jesus - No Bones Broken (John 19:36).

John 19:36 - For these things took place that the Scripture might be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken.”

Does John 19:36 refer to Jesus?

But what is the meaning of this passage?

Despite Jesus being pierced by those who worship the beast, does this passage refer to psychological, spiritual, and physical resilience of the One who is sent by God?

I believe this does apply to Jesus and the meaning is in the fact that Jesus is the One who is the Lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the world. As the Passover lambs were not to have their bones broken, so Jesus did not have His broken to show that He is the final Passover Lamb who saves from death those who are covered by His shed blood. The practice of crucifixion caused a slow, torturous death and at times the leg bones were broken by the executors to speed up the process, but this did not occur with Jesus because He died relatively quickly when His mission was completed and He cried, "It is finished".
