John Cleese is now an official lemur!

As a lemur-lover, I tend to celebrate all good news about them! Much of that good news has come from the donations and support of John Cleese, who's brought attention to the species.

Apparently, this has been recognized by naming a lemur after him!

Yay! I'm leaping for joy!

Hmm... I thought it was just a general saying, but now I'm not sure.

I think it stems from the fact that most of the lemur species use a curious form of locomotion to move acrosss the ground, that of jumping. It does look like they're leaping for joy, themselves, though!
