A lot of people saying it was terrible, I thought it was a pretty good film. But I read up on it first, and I didn't expect to see a full on Clown Prince of Crime persona. Nope, I didn't expect that after seeing that the first film was a character drama about Arthur Fleck, and having seen movies like Taxi Driver, Falling Down, Breaking Bad, I kept in mind that it is about the character's evolution.

I liked the message of the movie as well. It was pretty direct.

Haven't seen it, Im not a particularly huge fan of these "superhero" movies, even though I know that the Joker is not really following that path. Thought the first one was pretty good, but that this one is more of a musical?

I am however watching the Penguin which I think is pretty good so far.

I was thinking of seeing that tonight as it was one of my most anticipated movies but my day has been ruined, so that probably isn't happening. Maybe some other time this week.

There was a lot of singing in this film. I didn't mind it, but I can understand why it through people off. I was able to overlook it, because most of it wasn't super flashy.

I plan on watching Penguin at some point, I heard good things about it and I like The Batman.

I will probably watch the Joker 2 at some point.

The Penguin at least so far is more of a gangster movie, very well acted.

I have HBO and Netflix.

I used to have cable TV where you get X amount of channels, but in Denmark, TV is pretty bad and all the quality shows are on the national channel anyway which is "free" or forced payment :D

All the other channels are pretty much commercials constantly, reality shows or repeats. So I cancelled all of them and still pay way less now for just those two than all the tv channels.

In fact I don't even own a TV that is how much I watch it :D

I hear many good things about HBO. Netflix doesn't seem to get a lot of popping new content, but it has good shows.

I have to be honest, I really don't watch that many shows/movies in general.

But should I give my impression of them, I would say that HBO has fewer but better quality shows. Whereas Netflix is more about quantity so it's probably easier to find some random stuff on Netflix and they do have some good scientific, history stuff as well.

It does however seem like HBO is expanding as they have live sport now and food programs etc. as well which I haven't seen before. Like Deadliest catch, some people that hunt ghosts and stuff like that, documentaries etc. So it seems like they are adding a lot of stuff to it.

So it's not only their own stuff anymore, so it's pretty cool. Obviously, I think it differs from country to country.

And also the national TV in Denmark has live TV obviously, but then also its own "Netflix" service for its own programs and all the stuff they show like movies and series etc. So basically I have 3 streaming services which is more than enough for me.

I honestly didn't realize Netflix had good documentaries. I may explore this before I cancel. Thanks for the info.

Netflix is a bit messy :)

And again, I think it depends on the country you are from. So they have different things as far as I know.

They also experimented with adding games I think, but not really sure what happened to that, not that I care, but I think that could be available to you depending on where you live or it will probably come in the future.
