Rabbi Neusner follows up his pronouncement like this:
To understand what I mean, try to imagine an organization that adopts the following resolutions, and ask yourself, What kind of an organization is this? The organization resolves to actively oppose state and local referenda and statues restricting the civil rights of gay men and lesbians. . . . The organization resolves to support the use of fetal tissue for the purpose of life-saving or life-enhancing research. . . . The organization resolves to advocate a single-payer system as the most likely means of fulfilling the principles articulated in past organization resolutions on health care reform. . . . The organization resolves to call on our federal, provincial, state, and local governments to adopt legislation that will afford partners in committed lesbian and gay relationships the means of legally acknowledging such relationships. . . . These comments from Rabbi Neusner aren't posted to start a debate on politics, left or right. On the contrary, they came up in the context of a number of essays on the exponential stock market rise of shares of Nvidia (the world's premier AI chip manufacturer). In various articles on Nvidia, and AI in general, it was commented that:
AI excels in data analysis, language translation, and image recognition. However, it struggles with creativity, genuine understanding, and nuanced human emotions. AI lacks true consciousness and ethical judgment, limiting its ability to make complex moral decisions.
This statement segue with the comments from Rabbi Neusner only for persons who might be familiar with standard antisemitic tropes. For instance, in Heideggerian terms, Judaism is the home of the world's premier calculators. Heidegger, with the generality of antisemitic treatments of Judaism, and Jewish proclivities in general, argues that Judaism lacks true creativity and nuanced ethical judgments, and instead relies on the written code, written law, be it legal, natural, or religious, as a barrier beyond which no one and no thing can go any further. In this sense, Judaism, and its adherents, since they have an absolute barrier beyond which they won't go, are profoundly able, then, to explore everywhere and anywhere calculation can lead so long as it doesn't lead beyond the written code.
Add to the idea that AI is merely calculating, i.e., that it can only go so far as the written law, or code, it's feed, the additional fact that in very recent questioning of the world's premier AI models, concerning moral, social, and global societial/political issues, it answered perfectly in line with what Rabbi Neusner claimed was the sole concern of modern Judaism, and it begins to look like all pronounced forms of intelligence that are merely calculating, that lack serious creativity, and the most human level of genius, tend to do yeoman service as cheerleaders for left-wing zealotry.
I must, however, make clear what I mean by Judaism; I mean neither a race nor a people nor a recognized creed. I think of it as a tendency of mind, as a psychological constitution which is a possibility for all mankind, but which has become actual in the most conspicuous fashion only amongst the Jews. . . . I do not refer to a nation or to a race, to a creed or to a scripture. When I speak of the Jew I mean neither an individual nor the whole body, but mankind in general, in so far as it has a share in the platonic idea of Judaism. My purpose is to analyse this idea.

By speaking of a Platonic-dualism between Judaism as the worldview of one form of extremely intelligent persons, versus a secondary form of thought related to "genius," and "creativity," and the ability to transcend all code, or law, be it written with what a pen is, or chiseled in stone, Weininger helps establish a schematic or matrix to examine the alpha and the omega of both poles in the Platonic-duality.
Situating the "Judaism" pole with the explosive rise of AI (pure, potent, calculation) implies that the "kingdom age" associated with Jewish conceptualism is rapidly approaching such that if that age is the age of the triumph of AI, and that kind of lawful thinking, the curious, or dare we say creative mind, might be interested in juxtaposing the near future victory of Judaism/AI with a potential victory of the other kind of thought, a thought that transcends AI, in that it transcends all thought circumscribed within law and code: a type of creative-thought that's reckoned to be the binary pole ----possibly even an opponent ---of the Judaism/AI brand of thought?
In this sense, the question rises, what, in God's name, does it mean when Rabbi Neusner says, "Judaism has been Hijacked"? Who or what has "hijacked" Judaism? And is Rabbi Neusner situating himself to some degree within the polar, or binary, antithesis of Judaism/AI and the latter's tendency to do yeoman service as cheerleaders for left-wing zealotry?

Could be true, also Jesus seems to have thought so. But, I think the same could be said also about Christianity.

In John 8:44 Jesus is claiming that Judaism has been hijacked by the devil who's the spirit of anti-Christ such that the timeliness of your quotation of John 8:44 can be better appreciated where the so-called "Beast," i.e., the incarnation of the spirit of anti-Christ, makes AI his high priest, scribe, and executioner:

A full discussion here would specify how the attempted reformation of Judaism by Jesus can be construed as a necessarily new religion for conscious men rather than bicameral men. Behavior now must be changed from within the new consciousness rather than from the Mosaic laws carving behavior from without. Sin and penance are now within conscious desire and conscious contrition, rather than in the external behaviors of the Decalogue and the penance of temple sacrifice and community punishment. The divine kingdom to be regained is psychological not physical. It is metaphorical not literal. It is `within' not in extenso.
