Judge Jeanine: Comey's Announcement 'Disgraces and Politicizes the FBI'

A conservative and a Trump supporter said that on Fox:

Judge Jeanine Pirro said that FBI Director James Comey's decision to send a letter to Congress notifying them of the discovery of further emails relevant to the probe into Hillary Clinton's alleged mishandling of classified information "disgraces and politicizes" the bureau.

"[This] is symptomatic of all that is wrong in Washington," she said.

"One of the most revered agencies in our nation's history--now seen as putting its finger on the scales of justice--should not now be front and center," Pirro said, "You know I support Donald Trump and want him to win, but whether it's Hillary Clinton or anyone else, Comey's actions violate not only longstanding Justice Department policy...but the most fundamental rules of fairness and impartiality."

I don't think it makes any sense to suggest that the American people do not deserve to hear the truth until after the election. If Clinton has broken the law, the time to know the truth is right now.

The investigation certainly will not be completed before the election. Moreover, Comey did not suggest that the investigation he announced really had anything to do with Clinton. He definitely didn't suggest that anything about these emails raised any suspicion that Clinton violated any law.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Joe Walsh is absolutely no friend of Hillary Clinton:

Politics aside, James Comey has screwed this thing up from the get go.
He wrongly let her off in July & he wrongly stuck it to her Friday

Joe Walsh @WalshFreedom
Look, I think Comey should have said prosecute her back in July.
But what he just did 11 days b4 the election is wrong & unfair to Hillary.

Joe Walsh @WalshFreedom
U may hate me, but I'll always say what I believe.
I want Trump to win, but what Comey just did to Hillary Is wrong & really unfair to her.

That is why, on Saturday, I filed a complaint against the F.B.I. with the Office of Special Counsel, which investigates Hatch Act violations, and with the Office of Government Ethics. I spent much of my career working on government and lawyers’ ethics, including as the chief White House ethics lawyer for George W. Bush. I never thought that the F.B.I. could be dragged into a political circus surrounding one of its investigations. Until this week.

From an outside and dispassionate perspective ( I'm an Australian, and I have no time for Trump or Clinton), it looks a lot like this election IS rigged.
Rigged entirely on both sides to generate chaos and confusion.

That might be true "IF" Clinton broke the law. But there is no suggestion that she did -- only that things were found in another investigation that "might have a bearing."

Yet, that is enough to allow the Trump Rump to shout "guilty guilty guilty' -- not just before a trial and conviction, but before there's even been a charge laid!

And that is deeply, deeply political.

Let's all remember that this latest wrinkle is just a reopening of an investigation.
Doesn't mean much to me.
But it sure generates a lot of conversation (argument?).
