Just for the brave among us -- analyze a Trump speech.

His speeches terrify half of the people in the US. They terrify me. A good friend of mine loves trump and hates vance but will still vote for trump. She excuses everything he says because she "knows" that he is just a bad speaker and he really cares for everyone and will be best for the us. There is something more complex going one at this time which we do not fully understand. Trump can say things that would be completely unacceptable from any other candidate whether republican or democrat. Vance gets away with it only because he is running with Trump. Trumps family are all warning us but only half the nation listens. What I determine is that no one actually sees trump or hears trump but rather have created him into a fictitious hero fighting evil. In shot he has become a superhero to his followers. Unfortunately reality will set in if he is elected.
Well, he was a "TV Star" for some time, and for many low-information people that seems to always end up in some kind of hero worship.

But there is very real danger here -- especially to immigrants. Even now, Americans are turning on Haitians who are legally in the U.S. They are fearing for their safety, and it would not surprise me if violence erupted, leading possibly even to death (certainly wouldn't be the first time in U.S. history).

And do you think Trump or Vance care? Not a bit -- not if it gets them elected.

But I expect better of Americans, and especially those Americans here on RF who support Trump -- if they, too, are completely comfortable with the threat of danger to those poor people just to get their hero elected, then I would be very (to use a euphemistic expression) disappointed.

I know the left wing likes to keep saying that he's losing in the polls, and truly intended to discourage people which isn't working.

Trump is pretty damn strong and it definitely shows.

But of course the fat lady will sing on Election Day.
The fat lady has already sung twice on an election day and Trump lost the Popular Vote both times.

With his obvious mental decline and mental decline being the reason Biden stepped out of the election, i figure he will lose the third time by an larger amount than the first two times.

the closer it gets to election day, the more bat **** crazy Trump becomes.

So then you completely agree, being a sensible people, that Trumps videos are bull ****?
What he can't seem to grasp is that watching a video of Trump actually speaking live to a crowd can hardly be called "propaganda". With or without the expletive deleted. That cannot be described as anything other than some sort of cognitive failure or antipathy to reality.

We get it, you can't make heads nor tails of his rambling either. If anyone is unhinged, it's Trump and his rambling incoherent nonsense.

Why do you pretend he makes sense?
You missed something: "If anyone is unhinged, it's Trump and his rambling incoherent nonsense -- and his gullible followers." That, I think, answers your question nicely. .

I have already flat out stated:

the closer it gets to election day, the more bat **** crazy Trump becomes.

He is ignoring his advisors who are telling him he need to act normal. Maybe they and he have different notions of 'normal,' a scary thought all by itself.
It is my extremely unpopular opinion that Trump revealed at the Harris debate the main reason he should not be President.
Harris was so easily able to lead him by the nose wherever she wanted by whatever path she wanted.

Anyone who is so easily lead by the nose should not be in any position of power.

Because that is his strategy, to create enough fear and demonization of enough others that he will be seen as the saviour of the fearful.
His rational advisers see this as a pathway to disaster but he doesn't care and so far it is working. It is another right wing populist engaging in demagoguery as in Austria, France, the UK, etc.

Keep ranting on unhinged. It only helps the Republican effort.
Much of the ranting isn't unhinged.
Many of the ill effects of his return can be
made real, eg, his plan to increase immunity
of cops to commit violent crimes / rights
violations. With his control of SCOTUS,
this is a very real possibility.

Never mind wrong wisconsin speech transcription.

should be up soon.
I forgot to say "thank you so much for this." I wasn't aware that it existed, and I've been transcribing the hard way so far! Much appreciated.

And thank you for the Red River cereal idea, it is pretty close to what I grew up with in the combination of cream of wheat and whetena.
