JW's Jesus is Archangel Michael?

Why do you who are such an expert on love seek to provoke?

My first comment as to Jesus and Michael was post 382. After that you started your taunting but strayed it to a side point which was a bit more reasonable to discuss as there was more in the scriptures concerning it.

But then another poster would not have it that I had said in post 382 that there was not really much support in the scriptures either direction concerning the subject of Jesus and Michael. It obviously annoyed them even as it did you that i had stated that from what I was able to see in scripture i would be inclined to agree with JW's stand. And so you can clearly see that in post 413 I very clearly made that position known once again.

Then we have post 420 and post 477 all showing that I have resisted the touching of this dead carcass with you who wish to do so, but I then failed to just ignore you.

Pegg was totally right to ditch you guys. You do nothing but seek to stir up conflict and there is about as much a chance of sharing a different view to you as there is of placing and ice cube into an oven at 500 degrees and expecting it not to melt.

So have at it. I am done with you.
Pegg did not ditch us for stirring anything up. She ditched us by order of the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses.

I don't know if you saw this post, but I'll repeat it. Angel is translated from the Greek word "angelos". It means a messenger. It is a job description and not the things you are thinking of pictured with wings. They are cherabim and seraphim. They were used as messengers also. The war in heaven was fought by Michael (just another name for the Son of God) and his angels (messengers) (Rev 12:7).

Lucifer had made accusations against God and they are being countered by Jesus and the prophets (God's messengers).

HEBREWS 1 : 1 "In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in many ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son"

The parable of the tenants has the servants coming first and then the Son. Does that parable make any sense if you hold to the theory that Jesus came to pay a penalty for us? If you go back to my posts on wine you'll see that Jesus came to actually show the true character of God. That is what the war in heaven was about. It wasn't a physical war. It was a war of accusations by Lucifer about the character of God. Jesus brings salvation not by paying a penalty, but by showing that God is total love. There is a reason why this had to be done, but it takes pages of scripture to lay out the total picture and no one would probably bother to read it all.

The prophets brought God's message through Scripture.
2 PETER 1 : 21 "For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit."

Jesus brought the message in the flesh. The word became flesh. Moses said the following:

EXODUS 18 : 15 "The lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him."
EXODUS 18 : 17 "The Lord said to me: 'What they say is good. I will raise up a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put my words in his mouth."

Remember Jesus said, "i say nothing on my own, I only repeat what the Father has taught me."

I wouldn't call him a delivery boy, but he did come with a message.

JOHN 18 : 37 "In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth."

Not my words, but Jesus'. He came to testify to the character of God which the Jews had rejected during the first 90 days after being released from slavery. After 90 days he relented and gave them the pagan god they desired. Jesus would come in the future to see if they were ready to accept the true picture of God. As we know, most still weren't.

In Colossian 1:19, God said he was pleased to have his fullness dwell in him (Jesus). God was pleased that Jesus showed the world the true character of God. Something the Jews had failed at.

OK. I agree. But not all Jews failed at it. We would not know the true character of God if some Jews had not succeeded in it. The nation failed which is a lesson in wisdom for us I think.

Jeremiah 13:11 said the Jews were supposed to reveal the character of God but they failed. Psalm 80 said that Jesus would do it in their place. He didn't come to pay some legal penalty, he came to show God's character.
