Kamala Harris’ Social Media Page Repeatedly Lies About Trump

It’s not “my side.” I’m an independent trying to decide who to vote for. You might wanna check yourself before making baseless assumptions and looking like a fool.
Fool, there's only one fool in this conversation.

I expect hyperbole and minor deception from political campaigns. However, I read the whole link, and found that, compared to Trump's outright, whole-cloth fabrications, these were very minor, and an order of magnitude less frequent by comparison.

That's kind of where I am. I don't support this style of politicking, especially when there's plenty of very true, real, and worse stuff the Harris campaign can use against Trump. Still, comparing the two campaigns makes the examples in the article feel very minor.

Thanks for pointing the article out. I think it's good to call politicians out for this stuff.

May I ask, as an independent trying to decide, how does comparing these problems with the Trump campaign's similar but much more exaggerated problems sway your decision making?

Why “of course”? These were clips deliberately cut and taken out of context. Lies. Not as bad as Trump. We all agree on that. But why can’t Harris keep things above board as party leaders requested at the DNC?
When you learn something about human nature, you discover that "facts" and being above board are just about entirely ineffective at changing people's minds about what they've previously accepted as true -- for whatever reason. It is not always (nor even often) effective to "go high when they go low." The endless stream of scurrilous and untrue invective being tossed moment by moment at Kamala Harris and Tim Walz by Trump and Vance has to be countered somehow, and -- as I've just said, "facts" ain't gonna do it. Even when the invective is tossed at Haitian immigrants -- putting them in very real danger -- do you think endless "officials" saying "there is zero evidence that these accusations are true" it's going to make any difference? If you think so, then you have no explanation for the threats against those very Haitians in Springfield that are happening right now.

This is one of those case where, sadly, the Harris campaign (and by the way, those posts were not by Harris herself, but members of her campaign, and nobody can control everything said in an organization of that size and moment) must fight back how it can -- or allow the false claims of the other campaign to stand unchallenged.

Interesting this thread isn’t getting much attention. I guess the Left is OK with their candidate lying. I had hoped Harris would do better. “When they go low we go high!”

Obama and B Clinton even made it a point in their DNC speeches to keep things positive and don’t sink to the opponent’s level. Too bad modern-day Dems didn’t listen.
No, the left is tired of the right treating a parking ticket as the same crime as murder. Every politician is going to embellish and misrepresent to some degree, but nothing is like Trump's absurd lies that no sane person believes. If Harris lies about anything it will be nothing like what Trump lies about. Trump is unfit, there is no other option for rational minds.

Yep. I’ve already said it doesn’t compare to Trump. Doesn’t mean I have to like or accept it. Does t mean I can’t expect better. And I’m siding with the Obamas and Bill Clinton who I think know a lot more about this stuff than you lot.

I've noticed more and more people want some perfect ideal that can never exist. And they blame the better of the two candidates for not meeting this expectation. So maybe Trump, they say without realizing the irony.
