Kamala Harris. Who do you think her VP pick will be.

Less tax taken out of my paycheck. My stubs prove it.

Adjustments of foreign trade tariffs with countries who we're taking advantage of American trade policies.

They usually do. Democrats aren't known for independent thinking, which made the whole episode of so many democrats demanding Biden drop out while others wanted him to stay in so entertaining. Even now, many dems hate Harris. I can hardly wait for that to play out.

I think you would be hard pressed to find even a handful of Ds who 'hate Harris.' She would be about 199 out of 200 of my options to be the candidate for the Ds (I am an 'I'). My point is that the Ds are overwhelming in agreement that the Orange One must not be in power again. So we must suck it up and go with the best option to stop him.

IOW,, it's still "Orange Man Bad" for you guys.
But take it from AOC about Harris and how many Dems want her:

“If you think there is a consensus among the people who want Joe Biden to leave that they will support Vice President Kamala Harris, you would be mistaken," she said.

She added that, “I'm in these rooms, I see what they say... a lot of them are not just interested in removing the president, they are interested in removing the whole ticket."

Yep. I read and posted that a few days ago.
Its not as cut and dry as some think it is.

Granted, it's only been....what, 6 hours or so since Biden's decision was made? Maybe stances will become more solidified in a few days.
Yep time will tell. Its four weeks to the dem convention. No point in jumping to conclusions. This time 3 weeks ago everyone was sure Biden would stay in. It was just a cold.

There you go.

1) Uhh, a mixed bag. What happened to Mexico paying for a wall? And Breaking Down the Immigration Figures - FactCheck.org

2) We must be in different tax brackets, because I paid much more under Trump and had fewer deductions (though, to be fair, I am not in a low income bracket; the middle class got screwed under him). The other facts that you might find uncomfortable are that: the vast majority of tax cuts went to the filthiest rich in this country, not the people who actually work for a living. And that he increased our debt even more than Biden. So...

3) You do realize, I hope (if not, Google it), the consensus of economists today confidently predict that Trump's proposals on these issues will INCREASE prices on most things, which impact the poorest the most?

There you go.
MAGA shut down legislation that would have been the most firm and comprehensive immigration bill in US history, to spite Biden.

Your corporate allies raised costs, on purpose/for profit, while getting their tax cuts and welfare checks.

Tariffs designed to benefit the ever soaring profits of American corporations.

She won't get that far
Hopefully not, but isn't it amazing how people are counting their chickens before they're hatched? Biden drops out and "endorses" Harris, and now everyone is trying to guess who she'll pick for VP.
Whatever happened to the "democratic process" that is supposedly so important? Biden was democratically elected, Harris was not.

All I can say for certain is that it won't be me.
I was going to say that I am available. Sometimes parties seem to pick VP's as someone that the other party would hate to see as President to protect the President from attacks and I qualify for the job that way very very well. No one would want to see me as President. Harris would be safe from all assassination attempts as well.

Biden wanted that to run on to get votes.
The repubs wanted that to run on to get votes so they shut it down. And are basically running on it.

Fraud happens under the watch of them all. The poor always pay.

I sometimes wonder if people know how tariffs work.

Example... Raise tariffs on China. China doesn't pay, the importer here pays. To make up that cost the importer will raise prices on what he sells here. The people pay.

Tariffs as a deterrent haven't worked.

How's that? Would you make sure she's secured by a group that ISN'T the Secret Service?

True true. This whole thread is essentially nothing more than predictive hyperbole including my own postings as I get wound into the topic. Oh the passion.....

I think for now I'll pull on my my reins and yell, "Woah! Slow down Silver"!

On the Biden side. If the bill had passed the Americans who want immigration reform would have gotten it. Not just some silly unfinished wall.

On that second part, people should be more careful about who they trust when being promised something very dear to their hearts and wallets.

You nailed the third part really good.

Most of this inflation/shrinkflation is a product of corporate interest (greed).
