Kanye West's "Christian" - "Sunday Service" - Jesus is King Album, Chick Fil-A & the Real Lord's Day

Kanye West, known for being one who said that he was "God", and even having a label of Yeezus, which was supposedly in relation to Jay-Z's name of Jay-HOV (all of which are completely blasphemous, as the real names in the scripture are Jesus and JEHOVAH), has reportedly become "christian" and even has a new album, Jesus is King, in which the 4th song, speaks about Chick Fil-A and "Sunday" as the Lord's day.

"... Kanye West has a new song called "Closed on Sunday" that references Chick-fil-A.

"Closed on Sunday, you my Chick-fil-A," the song begins.

Chick-fil-A closes all of its locations on Sunday because of founder Truett Cathy's Christian faith. ...

... "Closed on Sunday" is the fourth track on "Jesus Is King," West's new album that was released on Friday. Prior to Friday, the song was in rotation during West's listening parties for his new songs. ...”

“… The song goes on to preach against Instagram ("Hold the selfies, put the 'Gram away") and the importance of faith ("Follow Jesus, listen and obey"). West ends the song with a cry of "Chick-fil-A!"

Chick-fil-A declined to comment on the song. But, the fast-food shout-out seems fitting for the gospel-influenced album. Every location of the fast-food chain is closed on Sunday. ...

... West has also made financial investments into the fast-food industry. ..." - Kanye West has a new song called 'Closed on Sunday' that heavily references Chick-fil-A - Kanye West has a new song called 'Closed on Sunday' that heavily references Chick-fil-A

One, it is just silliness (and terrible bad as a piece of music), and has nothing to do with holiness, nor the sacredness of God or JEHOVAH Elohiym's, and thus Jesus' doctrine or Gospel.

What is interesting, is that Kanye West, in April 25, 2018, tweeted about Donald J Trump:

"... You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. ..." - Metro CO UK - What is the Kanye West Donald Trump connection? | Metro News

Seriously speaking, and with all humility, Kanye West is (speaking from outside perspective) without knowledge about which day is the Lord's day.

It is not the first day of the week ('Sunday'), but the 7th day (the Sabbath of the LORD thy God; Genesis 2 vs 1-3; Exodus 20 vs 8-11, etc).

Kanye West is being used by the entertainment ('enter' to come into, 'tain' - to be held captive, 'ment' - continuous, or the act of ongoing or being) industry to promote Sunday sacredness, which is not found once in all of Holy scripture (KJB).

If you would like to see why this is, turn to Daniel 3, "all kinds of musick", in association with Babylonian, false worship, and likewise turn to Ezekiel 8 vs 16, in that those who professed to worship God, were really turning their back to God's Law of Ten Commandments and worshipping the Sun (and today it is Sunday), so that people might bow down to an idol (and child) of the Papacy, Sunday.

A national Sunday law is coming soon from America to the globe, see Revelation 14 vs 6-12.

This is no joke, or one can simply watch the following:

What is the Lord's day? Let the Bible speak:

The "Lord's day" according to scripture, is the 7th day, the sabbath day of the Lord.

Genesis 2:1-3,4 - 'the seventh day', 'God', 'day', 'the LORD God' [… God [the LORD] … day …]

Exodus 16:23 - "the LORD", "to morrow [the seventh day] is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD' [... the LORD ... [day] ...]

Exodus 16:25 - 'to day [the seventh day]; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day' [... the LORD ... day]

Exodus 20:8-11 - 'the sabbath day', 'the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God', 'sabbath day' [... the LORD ... day ...]

Exodus 31:15 - 'the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD ... the sabbath day' [... the LORD ... day]

Exodus 35:2,3 - 'the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD', 'the sabbath day' [… the LORD … day …]

Leviticus 23:3 - 'the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD'

Deuteronomy 5:12,14 – 'the LORD', 'the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God' [… the LORD … day …]

Psalms 92:1 - 'A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD'

Isaiah 56:6 - 'Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath [day] from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant' (context new covenant) [... the LORD ... sabbath [day] ...]

Isaiah 58:13 - 'the sabbath ... my [the LORD's] holy day ... the holy [day] of the Lord' [... [the LORD's] ... day]

Isaiah 66:22,23 – 'the LORD', 'one sabbath [day] to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD' [… the LORD … [day] …]

Jeremiah 17:21 - 'saith the LORD... on the sabbath day' [... the LORD ... day]

Matthew 12:8 - 'the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day' [... the ... Lord ... day]

Mark 2:28 - 'the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day' [... the ... Lord ... day]

Luke 6:5 - 'the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath [day]' [... the ... Lord ... [day]]

Revelation 1:10 - 'the Lord's day'

There is no such thing as 'Sunday sacredness' in all of Scripture, except as a Mark of the Beast (Daniel 7:25).

Do what you want with your Saturdays.
"Saturday" was nowhere mentioned. "Saturday" is not the "Sabbath of the LORD thy God", as "Saturday" is technically pagan Roman time (midnight to midnight), and is therefore not the same as the Biblical time, which is "even unto even" or sunset to sunset that we, who love God, keep His Sabbath, the 7th day Holy as He made it so from the beginning (Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11).

I used to be Roman Catholic (30 years), until Jesus showed me from scripture and history what Roman Catholicism really is.

Already known, and very true. It is satanic (or as you put it "diabolical"). He (satan) thinks to change times and laws (even through mankind), and even as thinking he is "God", sought to rename the days from Creation as given by JEHOVAH Elohiym. The purpose is to obscure the 7th day, for therein is the Seal of God:

[1] Name

[2] Title/Authority

[3] Dominion/Kingdom/Territory

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

[1] "the LORD thy God" (JEHOVAH Elohiym)

[2] "made" (Creator/Sustainer)

[3] "heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is" (All things created)

Once my sister asked me if I know where the names of our days of the week come from. I began explaining just that to her, because it is accurate, but she interrupted me and tried to "correct" me with what her newly obtained [and very full of BS] Llewellyn "pagan" book said. Which is entirely false.

Your OP was extremely lengthy.
The bottom line is, do you go to a building to be with other like minded people for whatever reason you may have, that you refer to as a church, and what day of the week do you do it?

Answer. If I thought I needed to go to a building that is called a church, I wouldn’t care what day of the week it was. It’s just a building. And truthfully, I’ve been to buildings called churches, and I have had a hard time finding like minded people there.
But you are correct, the Bible does not say that Sunday is the appropriate day of the Lord. Saturday was always the Lord’s day until some guys got together in a room somewhere, and changed it. If you want to be picky though, there is no Christmas, nor Easter, in the Bible. If you want to celebrate the Lord, you may want to look into the Passover as a place to start.

We would even love to hear from Kanye West and family, personally, that he too might not be deceived, or deceiving.

Am I seventh day Adventist? No "though baptized as one in the past".
Is this message against me? I do not perceive that it is.

Mar 9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
Mar 9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
Mar 9:40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

Your OP was extremely lengthy.
Entirely subjective statement, and without any foundational standard to measure against. Psalms has 150 'chapters', and Psalms 119 has 176 verses. Isaiah has 66 chapters. Jeremiah has 52. Matthew has 28 and Revelation 22. The OP is actually shorter than the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5.

The bottom line is, do you go to a building to be with other like minded people for whatever reason you may have, that you refer to as a church, and what day of the week do you do it?
The topic of the OP is not a matter of when a person simply gathers with like-minded believers. The subject of the OP is about which specific day according to scripture is "the Lord's day" (Rev. 1;10). The two things are distinct from each other.

The body of believers may gather on any and every day with no injunction anywhere found in scripture against such, and in truth they met "daily", "continually", etc (Mat 26:55; Mar 14:49; Luk 22:53, 24:33,36; Acts 19:9) and likewise among the followers of Jesus Christ (Luk 24:51,53; Acts 1:3,9, 2:46-47, 5:42, 6:1, 16:5, 17:11,17; Heb 3:13, etc). Yet, none of that action, changes "the Lord's day" from the 7th day to another. This is the premise of the OP.

For instance, our members of the local body gather on many days of the week, and sometimes all the days of the week, depending upon what is taking place in any given month, such as the 10 days of prayer in the OP. Yet, not every day is "the Lord's day", but only the 7th day the sabbath of the LORD is such, which day is about God's "rest", from Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11.

Persons may gather inside of a building, or outside in nature, in the city or out of the city, as scripture teaches, and as we often do, depending upon the time.

Temple (in Jerusalem)

Mat_21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

Act_2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Synagogue (a place of gathering, not the Temple)

Luk 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

Act_13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

House

Luk_14:1 And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.

Act_2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Nature

Mat_12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

Act_16:13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

Also, these things, do not alter "the Lord's day" from being the 7th day the Sabbath of the LORD.

Answer. If I thought I needed to go to a building that is called a church, I wouldn’t care what day of the week it was. It’s just a building. And truthfully, I’ve been to buildings called churches, and I have had a hard time finding like minded people there.
See response previous.

But you are correct, the Bible does not say that Sunday is the appropriate day of the Lord.
This is the point of the OP.

Saturday was always the Lord’s day
Again, "Saturday" is pagan Roman time (midnight to midnight) and not actually Sabbath time, which is "even unto even" (see Leviticus 23:32), which is sunset to sunset (Mark 1:32).

If you want to be picky though, there is no Christmas, nor Easter, in the Bible.
This is non-sequitur to the OP. The "Easter" (from Tyndale's "easterlamb" is actually Passover) and is found in Acts 12:4

Act_12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

'Easter' (shortened form of 'easterlamb' 1 Cor. 5:7, and a carry over use/translation from Tyndale, Matthew, Genevans, Luther) is passover. You might find this article helpful, though I do not necessarily agree with everything in it - Riches of Grace: Easter

Other Bibles that read “Easter” with the King James Bible in Acts 12:4:

Acts 12:4 Tyndale's Bible [1494 – 1536, 1525] - And when he had caught him he put him in preson and delyvered him to .iiii. quaternios of soudiers to be kepte entendynge after ester to brynge him forth to the people.

Acts 12:4 Coverdale [1535] - Now whan he had takn him, he put him in preson, and delyuered him vnto foure quaternions of soudyers, to kepe him: and thought after easter to bringe him forth to the people.

Acts 12:4

As for "Christmas" it is an entirely Roman Catholic tradition as a comingling from paganism. It is literally "Christ's - Mass".

The real date of birth of Jesus, is the Feast of Tabernacles (God pitching tent with men) sometime in late 'September' or early 'October' (7th Month, Ethanim; 1 Kings 8:2), which may be seen with a further study of the context surrounding those events (course of Abia, etc)

If you want to celebrate the Lord, you may want to look into the Passover as a place to start.
The spring typical feast days are already fulfilled in Christ Jesus, while the fall feasts are in process of fulfillment (we are now in the Anti-typical Day of Atonement). Christians do not keep the typical (Colossians 2:16-17), but rather we keep to the reality (1 Corinthians 5:8)

For instance:

1Co_5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Christ Jesus is our Passover. Therefore, we do not celebrate the typical day, but the reality of the true.

Additionally, further references in the Greek are [every single 'first [day] of the week' text, as each text clearly shows that the first day is simply a number, with no special association or designation, other than it is simply one day toward the culmination of the week, being the 7th Day the Sabbath of the LORD thy God]:

That the Sabbath [of the Lord thy God], [being] the 7th day, is always the culmination of the week in God's Created order and is always referred to as such in all of scripture.

Therefore, every single “first [day] of the week” text upholds the 7th Day Sabbath, and is undeniable evidence of its continued existence and prominence.

Yet, even in all that, none of that alters the 7th day, as it is always the memorial of God's rest from the foundation of the world (Heb 4).

We can begin to look at the so-called 'first [day] of the week' texts and see what is really happening therein, and whether Christ Jesus only met with the disciples on that day, or rather on many days, before and after His resurrection.

Wow.
That was lengthy.
