What doe it mean to "snowboard for Jesus Christ", exactly? Can one channel surf, shuffle board or basket weave for Jesus Christ in a similar fashion? They all sound significantly easier than feed the hungry, tend the sick, clothe the naked or house the homeless for Jesus Christ, anyway.

Kelly Clark, 24, the 2002 Olympic halfpipe gold medalist took second place in the Women's Halfpipe at the Burton U. S. Open at Stratton Mountain Resort in southern Vermont. Clark came in third in the 2008 Burton Global Open Series (determined by points scored in Burton Opens around the world).
Clark learned to ride at Mount Snow in sourthern Vermont. She is a fan favorite at the U. S. Open.

We need to honor, glorify, praise and worship the Lord, in whatever way we can.

I couldn't walk on my foot for 6 months, after a bad motorcycle accident. The Lord restored my foot. I now walk because the Lord makes all things new.

handicapped, malformed christians who are never healed.... after years and years and years.

It's easy to glorify god when you're soaring free through the air.
Maybe not so easy when you land hard and lose your limbs.

But I remember the whole "suffer for god" thing as a RC. meh.

I was a skier for years, I did 360's, back flips, moguls, etc.

Your body builds up a resistance to injury when you have properly trained and your ski gear is properly maintained. I ran cross country in the fall, in High School, which strengthened my body for skiing and made it nearly resistant to injuries. I've never been injured while skiing.

I worked in a sports shop as a ski tuner and worked on my own skis. I calculated all the risks and trained so I would not injure myself. I've talked to many who have torn ligaments, ACL's, etc., simply because they did not strength train and porperly set their ski bindings. It happens all too often and they are never able to ski again, simply because they are not educated in the sport and do not strength train.

Professionals are no different, they train, work on their own gear, ride within their limits and wear a helmet.

The Lord wants to heal us all, all we have to do is ask.

I'm proof of that. My foot got caught between my 400 pound bullet bike and a car bumper. I was in pain for 6 months. Literally in an instant the Lord took away the pain and I could walk, whereas a minute before, I could not even put pressure on it, the pain was extremely intense and unbearable, for 6 months. The pain left in an instant, It was so badly injured, though, that it still took another 6 months to get it to work again, but I could walk on it, whereas during the previous 6 months, I had not even used it once, it was so extremely painful to put pressure on it or move it and I couldn't walk on it, that was out of the question.

It was a miracle. I should have taken pictures of my foot. It was all colors of the rainbow and swollen for a year, but at that 6 month point, when it was healed, I could walk on it, and the swelling went down from that point, but it still took another 6 months, but I could walk on it.

The more we are given, the more we can do. You can't give to the poor if your sitting at home watching TV, collecting welfare, barely getting by, etc.

The more we make in our personal professions, the more we can honor, praise and glorify the Lord, by giving back to Him, and to the poor.

The more she wins, the more money she makes, and through that the Lord is honored and glorified, which makes it possible for her to influence others for good and give to those in need.

Christ was rejected on his looks alone, by many, I'm sure.
